I do like that you seem have way more hope than I do, In a very summarized way I'd say we need to change from a cultural war to a class war, it's about being pro-worker and fighting for labor/union rights and socially we have so much to do to improve the lives of others... I fear for minorities during the next years.

Also the big thing that makes me hopeless is that the Supreme Court is fucked for the rest of our lives, it was the only way to win some battles and it's over for the next 30 years. We can't do anything because of the filibuster and Republicans are continuing and will continue to destroy every institution that protects democracy.

Nintendo has sat on the Switch too long. So many other great handhelds have come out since the Switch. The design of the Switch 2 is boring. The name Switch 2 is boring. The fact it's likely going to start with an LCD again is dumb. I suspect the launch games will be kinda meh. Nothing like a Breath of the Wild.

The only interesting thing it has going for it is nVidia's DLSS and I'm sure somehow even that will be underwhelming.
