Okay guys, like....  I actually made peace with Nepenthe and asked her what I could do to make it up to her.  No shit, the first thing out of her mouth was, "Yo, you got a studio??"  I actually do know a recording engineer so to make amends i produced a song of hers that she was "dying to release from her soul".  I paid around $4k to record this for her because I'm serious about reconciliation.  This is her story.

Pretty much my thought process. Like for me, it's not about supporting a party, but preventing the worst outcome. As an outsider to the US, it was obvious who posed the most danger.

You had Kamala Harris on one side and the Neo-Nazis on the other. Sadly the country has made up their mind. Now not only will the US will actively aid Isrsael by sending in their own troops, but raze Gaza to the ground and build a resort on it.

Gaza is already razed. Shows how much you folk actually pay attention to whats happening there. The death count is easily going to be in the hundreds of thousands when all is said and done.

It has been interesting to see how some people are so outraged at horrific rhetoric when they so easily dismissed horrific actions. It's really that easy for people in power to manufacture consent. You just need a considerate facade and you can get away with mass murder. Some people do actually care more about what is said than what is done. Words speak louder than action? Recently, two threads were made (here and here) where dialogue was shared that has been absolutely repulsive to me, a Palestinian.
"No one really cares about what's going on in Gaza."
"There's nothing left in Gaza for them to ceasefire with."
"It doesn't matter what is agreed on, they are going to wipe out the rest of Palestine eventually."
Do y'all hear yourselves? Do you think that the people of Palestine are going to accept their fates so readily? Do you think that their lives are solely bargaining pieces on the international playing field?

They're not. And even amidst everything has gone on, the people of Palestine (including in Gaza) have continued to cherish their loved ones, go to school, work their jobs, and make joyous memories.

And even outside of these threads, I have seen on numerous occasions members brush off the devasting number of deaths that have occurred during this genocide, and even deny that a genocide is even occurring.

If a ceasefire is reached and upheld, we do not care who brokered it, and we will continue to spend the rest of our lives rebuilding what was lost, and creating connections anew as well. And this will all happen of our own volition, not through the grace of whatever president America chooses to elect: we are worth much, much, MUCH more than that.

Many Palestinian (as well as other Arab) members have left because of the way y'all have treated us, and I'm on the cusp of joining them because of the insensitive remarks y'all say and get away with.

So any interaction with a white person comes with the caveat of emotional distance. I can co-exist and interact with you all on the basis of you're human beings like anyone else, and humans are fun to be around. But I do not relax around you all in the same why I relax around black people, or even other ethnic minorities in general. no, it's not right to lie, and if the developers lied about his age then they need to correct that

when creators say "um actually this obvious child is a 1000 year old dragon" that's also intellectually dishonest, a way to try to get away with really gross stuff...the difference is that this actually works when it comes to law and censors, you can say "everyone depicted is over 18 even if they don't look it" and you can often skate on by, but you can't in the opposite scenario when you are explicit that the characters are underaged

you are literally arguing that it is perfectly ok for developers/filmmakers/authors to set up pedophilic situations as long as it doesn't visually look like it
