Hear me out, what is the reason for the gooner bait on this level from certain Japanese developers? Is it cause Japanese people are not having sex? Although that goes for many young people all over the world now, due to economic, emotional, and personal reasons. But this would discourage them to form real life connections or even hook up. Or just seeing that young males buy a lot of gooner bait, so it's purely capitalist reasons? Like there are whales for anime or gacha games. Have they never experimented to try one game without gooner bait and one with, to see what sold more? Or focus groups to see what people would buy?

They're just perpetuating that young males only care to objectify women, and can lead to them doing that in real life as you see with incels. And we see the real world violence towards women that happens. But targeting only horny young males means they restrict their economic and demographic potential, surely? Do they not even run focus groups to find out if other demographics would be interested to buy the game based on the designs and characters? It's not like when Hollywood targets the 4 quadrants with big blockbusters, trying to appeal to the masses so they can get return on investment.

While excessive DLC killed the series, I remember the pushback was also because their core fans (no pun intended) were against the perceived dumbing down of the sixth game and female fans were mostly okay with the female character designs (real women, no closet perverts like you and other parasites). But the real reason is that Tekken 7 was just a much better game than DOA6.
Better netcode, better pricing model and a lot of post launch support. 

With online play and competitive play becoming more important SF5 sold ~7 million copies and Tekken 7 ~12 million copies and DOA just couldn't compete.

Just looking at that DOA wiki page I don't see why a DOA7 wouldn't sell a million copies even if the franchise had pushed away every single woman on Earth. Even the "example" of the franchise supposedly suffering (DOA6) still was in line with the rest of the franchise even if it was disappointing against expectations from selling endless DLC. What's the basis for claiming the franchise wouldn't if it copied the quality and DLC plans of Street Fighter or Tekken? That thread seems to insist this is true even though it also insists all Gamers are incel chuds. Wouldn't that suggest that a DOA7 should sell more than every other game in the franchise inherently even if, maybe especially if, it doesn't even have any worthwhile fighting?

50% of this country lives paycheck to paycheck. 49 out of 50 states are at-will which means you can be fired for basically anything they want. There's no federal sick or vacation time. Get arrested or injured at a protest and you and your kids can be homeless in an instant.

It's easy to be tough on the internet when you live in an actual first world country with social safety nets, workers rights, police with IQ higher than the room temp, and the non US healthcare system.

You get arrested at a protest? Either take the bullshit charges or spend thousands and years you don't have on a lawyer to fight it. You don't get your lawyer costs reimbursed if you are found not guilty.

I knew people pepper sprayed and injured at protests circa 2008 that were fully peaceful. You don't have civil rights in this country unless you can afford them.

I don't mean that people support Trump largely, I mean that any specific issue requires them to care enough to protest and all the probable issues are nothing anyone cares about to animate them into the streets, which would mean a generic protest against Trump which... uh... we just had an election, so you'd be protesting the result? Which you already did sorta? And a bunch of people did in 2017 and the 2018 midterms mattered way more?

Trans rights? ICE? Dropping bureaucrats out of helichoppers? These are all incredibly niche issues that don't effect very many people or else American policy would already be different on them. The rest of the stuff they're outraged about are all normal things in politics that nobody could explain why this time is so much worse they need to get in the streets about. That's not counting how many of these things are untrue but they think are not just true and happening but deliberate, they literally don't remember that just a couple weeks ago they were arguing that Medicaid getting temporarily fucked up was ALL PART OF THE PLAN to slaughter anyone with a medical problem in the country. If you're not going to get into the streets over deliberately murdering tens of millions of people, and it got "reversed" without that, then why would you over the rest of this shit?
