As someone who has (once in a while) railed on the Trans people of Era, I gotta say, I fully agree with you Cauliflower of Love.

Sometimes I feel that because TheBore is largely focussed on the lunatics of Era and BSky, we've kinda associated all trans people with sicko's like Kyuuji, CuntyCal, pedophile plagiarize, exshitsiorf, etc... And it's especially not to refuse to police yourself and others on their behalf even when they're not present. A secular government should recognize reality, not promote a religion. It is genuinely offensive to hear trans rights conversations draw equations to gay rights, women's rights, civil rights, and the fucking holocaust over and over again. As far as I know, there is literally nothing a trans person can't legally do that other groups can: they are covered by universal protections thanks to material, sustained efforts of many truly oppressed groups that came before them.

Women are a unique social class. You can't just pull up to that party and demand to be "one of the girls"...it's insulting to women to insist that you can. Even if we concede for the purposes of debate that trans women in cis women spaces are harmless, they are still not part of the in-group that comprises cis women. Spending 15+ years identifying (and being identified) as a man locks you out of that club forever.

Ironically I think Bridget has a better claim to womanhood than most transwomen do, and she's an entirely fictional character.

I'll say any trans person I've met in real life I have been nice and respectful to and also used their chosen pronouns names and I don't plan on changing that. 
Though when it comes to telling women who they have to accept into their spaces, extreme political positions or the general kind of dumb fuckery trans RE gets up to I will keep calling that out.

That said, someone like Melody or Echoes is someone I mostly just pity because they're clearly not well and their transness just seems like another symptom of that
