Well, they were ostracized, ignored, faced a militarized police response, blamed for the very instability they sought to oppose, and then they were betrayed by American public who voted for the fascist twice.

It is clearly time to, for the most part, take a step back from this site.

I've been writing a lot since the start of the year. Talking about life, loss, and the deeply personal insanity of the last few years.

Over the coming months, I plan on sharing some of that writing through a series of blog-esque posts. I'll be posting those links here, as well as a couple really exciting announcements that are coming, but that's about it.

For those of you who want to watch me freak out over the upcoming Switch 2 Direct, talk about whatever K-pop song I'm currently obsessed with (hint: it's "Born Again" by Lisa), or just general cat-related nonsense, I'll soon be more active on the other sites.

Now, the proper sane response to this, is first, ask why Martin O'Malley didn't do anything to fix this problem before he left office in November. If the SSA knew their systems were so terrible that the entire thing could collapse in 30 days from a few minor changes. (Also why wouldn't it just collapse immediately? Why the unknown time frame?)

The other thing is remember back when all these same people were telling us that Elon was going to do the same thing to Twitter's systems and the site would be gone in 30-to-90 days. Now you're going to scream at me "benji stop being pro-Trump you privileged fuck and prove to me there's zero percent chance this happens because if there is a one percent chance we have to take it as an absolute certainty and we have to destroy him" when my point is simply the moral of the Boy Who Cried Wolf: never tell the same lie twice.
