And maybe before I die of old age, Nintex could use these tips on an actual date....

I said that was fine but now that I'm home she has ended the chat.

She is still in my list though and hasn't blocked or removed me, maybe she wants me to like her, playing a silly 'hard to get' game and if not I'll just add lonesome Asians with low self-esteem to my overall target list. I never quite realized how many more cards there are to play if you don't 'necessarily' lower your standards but simply expand your pool.

I bought a cheap rotisserie chicken and potato salad.

I think I ate too much potato salad.

Those both sound like good things to me.

I mean, it's better than eating an entire box of cookies.

Best is long term GF but fun weekends or even Netflix and chill is fine too and maybe that can turn into something more but with a 24 y/o Asian au pair that's here for 4 months and barely speaks English the chances are slimmer.  Doge

The 32F that I'm dating next weekend wants to 'build something real' and all that but she didn't mind I wasn't as serious as she is from the get-go and appreciated me being honest about my intentions. Also I try to keep the chats fun, she enjoys that too. We're both very sarcastic, I don't think there is a limit to our sarcasm at least I haven't found it yet. She tells me the artist she hates the most, I tell her I'm the chairman of his fanclub and it derails from there  lol

But if she's as decent looking as I think she is, we vibe well IRL and her dog doesn't kill me, well I wouldn't mind to keep dating her. Overall she likes/dislikes a whole bunch of things I do and has passions of her own like music and nature photography which I can easily engage in.

What she wants is viable too with our incomes and in this stage of our lives, we can build something for 2 to 3 years, find a nicer place to live in my beach town with little pressure and start a family. She hates the dating apps and she's kind of getting too jaded to keep exploring options for much longer.

She's also not too demanding but the most important thing she seeks is fairly specific and difficult to find these days: no negativity. And she's kind of shocked that she found it in the gacha machine. She tried to bait me into becoming negative and she just couldn't get any negativity out of me and then after a whlie she finally told me and I didn't even realize she had been gaslighting me.

I don't really know what people see in potato salad, I would rather just have a baked potato

the other day I had jimmy johns catering and had the option of taking a side of potato salad and I did not do so

I got a bag of the jalapeno chips instead

American potato salad is too sweet. Use red wine vinegar in the dressing.

So this fucking cyclone is taking its sweet time arriving.

Gotta wait until early tomorrow morning now. Chances are it dies down to a cat 1 storm too.

People were stripping grocery stores and hoarding generators for this shit!

Fortunately, I am in a place that has strong German and Scandinavian roots. The deli in our Piggly Wiggly sells "German" potato salad (thats probably close to what youre talking about) And Amish style potato salad. I think the Amish style has more pickle relish and mustard.

But yeah, the sweeter souther style is only good to me if it's homemade.

Cyclone has finally arrived at midnight.

Wind has picked up significantly and there's some pretty solid rain.

No video cause it's dark.

cyclone doesn't sound like it should describe what it does

you got cy, so I'm getting hints of cyber and cyborg and cyclops, and you got clone which is also this high-tech future dystopia concept

it sounds like it should be the name of a villain or robot from a 90s movie, not natural weather phenomena

Met a very nice blonde lady at the business event today. 35, former miss netherlands, has done a lot of modeling, TV work and now has her own video production company and all sorts of side hustles including a gif creation service.

We connected at the buffet as we were both looking for something healthy to add to the fast food. I would be shocked if she's (still) single but then again why would she bother with so many silly side hustles. It's funny she didn't bring up any of her big achievements or roles, she was just the silly girl running around taking photos for social media.

A fun addition for the LinkedIn collection regardless. I'm gonna ask her to send me the photos she took of me and then try to get some more information.

Since I was complaining about my health in the other thread, maybe someone here knows what's up with a possible pinched nerve.

When I move in certain directions with my arm I get a sharp pain right in that spot for about a week. I've never had this kind of quick sharp pain. And if I push my finger in that spot I can get it to do it then to.

I'm not even sure it's a  nerve thing but the pain only last a few seconds. It's one of those things not worth the doc visit but Tiger Balm isn't going to be the answer on this one.

Go see a sport therapist.

I have a spinal problem. Hospital gave me painkillers, no solution.

Sport therapist gave me rehab exercises to improve my posture and how I move my neck. Removed 80% of the problem.

Well, that was a bit of a non-event. Coastal areas got a bit messed up, some rivers flooding down south but now it's just a bunch of rain sitting on top of us.

I went through one decent size hurricane while I lived in Florida. It was while I was providing security for a bunch of millionaires yachts. The cool part was I got to watch a bunch of million dollar yachts float up as the water rose. They were in slips with a canopy or roof thing so it crushed all the shit on top of these yachts. I got to watch and listen to all this shit crunch and get destroyed. lol

We had something like that happen when I was a teenager once. My dad and bro were up all night and I slept through it. When I got downstairs I noticed the towels and asked mom if the washing machine had broken down and they all looked like they got hit by a bus.

And at that time my room was below the roof. Heavy rains, thunder storm, howling winds, I never noticed any of it.

Not the hurricane but this is me....

at 1:15 that's me saying "Holy shit!"

That's pretty impressive. We often get summer storms like that come through and fuck shit up for 15 minutes and then the sun comes out and you're like, "Well, that was fun!"

I haven't bothered to confirm this since I don't own a large boat (or any boats) but I was always under the impression that you should moor the ships some distance from shore and most storms will not be strong enough to flip them at sea. You distance them from shore so they aren't blown into shit but they'll naturally rise and fall on the water.

I suppose in this case they imagined the main issue was the wind not the water. This is despite the fact that I believe water does more damage than wind usually.

Think a lot of it is some muscles being too strong and others too weak.

With back pain, a lot of is a weak ass. If you’re ever in the gym, watch the instagram lady doing hip thrusts, glute kick backs, abductor/adductor, even the squat form to target glutes over quads. Really zero in on the butt doing most of the work. An active ass is key to building a strong foundation.

This was me all week.

Asked the barber girl last week if I should go bald or not because I have a bald spot on the back of my head which stands out when my hair grows out. But she told me about all the effort and maintenance that a real bowling ball requires. So she suggested a shorter buzz cut than usual and everyone is like: that looks good actually.

Turns out the chair of the business club I went to yesterday was held by a former co-worker, I hadn't seen her in 12 years and she asked:
are you really that skinny shy boy or did you steal his identity. lol
