Because it's a public forum with advertising and an ownership group! If we have people on here calling for vigilante murder the entire site gets taken down! The entire thing goes under! We would lose every single bit of reach and goodwill that we have spent years building up! I will never understand how we have people on here in this community that prides itself on being plugged into the world at large that are still somehow able to miss basic everyday things like "you don't openly call for murder in online spaces"?????


You can say the out loud things more quietly and literally everyone knows what is being said. People do it all the time here! Every time you see someone say something like "I can't say what I wanna say" or something similar they are saying the out loud part quietly. There are posts like that in every other thread these days. It's everywhere and yet it doesn't threaten the site when they do it because it's so vague that it doesn't matter.


Everyone knows what is being said. You don't need to shout it out for the message to get across. There is no need to be specific when everyone is speaking the same language!
