My wife heard this song on my Spotify, and said she hates songs like this because it sounds like something "elves" would play "in a cartoon".

I asked her to elaborate further, and she said it was like when characters in comedy show have a quick cut where they are all playing metal music in elaborate outfits.

Does this make sense to anyone else???

Honestly, I couldn't tell you. I only watched a little bit of the show when it first came out and never really listened to the music outside of that.

They all seemed to be songs from Metalocalypse though because they had clips from the show running on a big screen at the back of the stage for each song.

I went mainly for the support act, who are one of my favourite Aussie bands (Freedom of Fear), but Dethklok were freaking great too.

I'm going to find the time to watch the show properly now.
