I mean, if people enjoy the game and the premise, more power to them.  

My problem is how fast ERA forgot about Ubisoft sexual abuse cases, anti union stuff and Gullemot family general greasiness. To the point of saying that Star Wars Outlaws and Avatar are generational games.  

Grummz and Elon Musk are stupid assholes, but I’m not going to buy a game I’m not interested just to spite them or going to pretend the company is unfairly maligned.  

Side note, I just can’t enjoy AssCreed games in general. The Assasins Vs Templars plots annoys me to no end.

I think we won't actually know what's going on with Shadows for a while.

The numbers look "good enough" and Ubisoft seems to be making happy noises, but there's a lot of context that isn't getting brought up:

1. Ubi is on a chain of weird failures and misfires...meaning the pressure on Shadows is even higher
2. AC in Japan was The Great Idea for the series going back like, 10 years. The fanbase has been clamoring for this setting. Even if we take it at face value, is "2nd highest player count for the series" good, relative to those expectations and fan demand?

We're not gonna know until shoes start to drop (or don't) sometime in the summer, probably.

I can give you my point of view as someone that knew nothing about the controversy, has no interest about Past or current Snow White (dont think i've ever seen the original), and obviously dont support war/genocide and oppressing women.

I randomly saw on Twitter the its not 1937 video and the crying video and I can tell you she comes off as incredibly arrogant, entitled and unsufferable, and its obviously not about the essence of the message.

Its a combination of the tone of her voice and the movement of her eyes which gives the impression that she thinks she is everything…. and thats definitely not an impression thats gonna get her popularity (nobody likes arrogance, no matter if shes right or not).

Which is a shame because if she is where she is at 23 she must be an amazing actress.

When I started working full-time, I decided I did not want to get in that work/home/sleep/wake/repeat cycle.

I would go to the gym, do group fitness, have happy hours, go on dates, watch movies or plays, do meetups, etc., not every day but twice a week.

I had this routine until the pandemic, which kinda killed it. I completed WFH for 5 years, mostly going to neighboring places. I did miss the variety, though. My little main street area in my hood got old lol.

I'm hybrid today. 3x a week. And while commuting sucks, it is easier to do fun things after work.

Jeff’s a cock but to be fair, those movies were all fairly well-lauded on/around release. I think as time has gone on with Iron Man up to Endgame, people looked back on them and wished how much better they could have been with integration to a larger narrative. That said, you’d not going to find subtle, nuanced conversation with one of Disney’s biggest cheerleaders.
