Stellar Blade is like someone asked the question "where the fuck is Nier Automata 2" and decided to take the matter in their own hands. This sort of game is right up my alley but the developer is unknown in the console space, so I'm on wait and see mode. Same thing for Lost Soul Aside, except this one I'm not even sure it will release someday.

I keep trying to bring it up and it just feels bad that people just...don't acknowledge it. The game is so blatantly misogynistic too, like you can easily see how their gross views influence how their game is made, so I just don't know why people are giving them a free pass.

Hey, SR1 was also goofy. Not goofy like 3 and 4 but more “we are trying to be GTA”. I haven’t played 2 but it sounds like it was the sweet spot for most people.

Don't get me wrong, Saints Row was always goofy GTA with the big purple dildo weapons and all that. But the first two were still just grounded enough to be taken seriously. SR3 was when things started to go overboard. Then after that is when they fully jumped the shark with the all the zombies, space, and superhero bs. The series went above and beyond being a shitty parody of itself and the whole genre, while also slipping both technically and mechanically.

SR2 was the classic sequel that expanded on all the good things about the original and made it better.

I suck at driving (I am a 45 year old guy that doesn't know how to drive).

So it took me a while to figure out that cutting your speed helps you make shorter, tighter turns  in a ship. It really helps. Maybe this tip will help someone else lol.

Are y'all prepared to prevent this place from turning into the bad faith shit show it did in 2020? When long time members with institutional knowledge were chased off this site by bad actors using moderators like a bludgeon. Bad actors who have been, almost to a person, banned due to the growing transparency of their actions.
