if you like watching people explore dead games and dead worlds, Josh Strife Hayes is great for that

the below video in particular is really surreal and interesting ("worst MMO ever" is just the name of the series as he searches for the worst MMO ever)

by doing his archaeology on this world, he attracted attention of the devs who came back after years of the game being dormant and helped shore up the servers so that people could play it again



this video attracted a small crowd to this weird little game and they went on to actually complete it in a way that presumably no one ever had before



also watch his series on Otherland, a dead MMO with an interesting premise and some good environment design that he played through to the end until the servers shut down forever, the devs basically kept the lights on just for him until he finished it to document it...there was talk of continuing to maintain it but it died a few months after the last video
