The chuds are the guys who whine about "gender bending" male characters, and they've been around and opinionated "fans" of the MCU since at least Doctor Strange. Due to how Taskmaster was handled in Black Widow, there started a string of #notmyTaskmaster bullshit, including people saying that she wasn't the REAL Taskmaster and that she should be replaced with Tony Masters, and the other one should be treated like a joke. That bullshit was even seen widely here, as were hopes that a "real" version of Taskmaster would show up down the road.

Whether Marvel intended to or not, fridging this version of Taskmaster just gives those assholes a "win", especially since it's done for no rhyme or reason and that was the only way to push the story forward.

No, instead an abuse victim who never found her voice and was working to process complex PTSD at the end of Black Widow is literally just thrown away early on in Thunderbolts and fridged in order to make room in the story for Sentry.

They could have literally used a million other characters, including other ex-widows, but instead chose the one character that should have probably got a better chance to be on screen as a more faithful adaptation of the comics.

Instead the entire character is wasted, a good actor is wasted, and it's all done so characters in the movie can loot her corpse and forget about her.

Also, you point out that Black Widow was "one of the most forgettable MCU movies" and yet here's the movie using three main characters from it (two after Taskmaster gets fridged) and giving them meaningful arcs throughout the movie. Hell, Yelena is one of the future faces of the Avengers and Red Guardian is also getting 3+ movies (and What If) to exist as a character.

I haven't seen a single person who complained that Taskmaster sucked because he's been genderbend. What everyone complained about is that in the comics Taskmaster is some Deadpool like loudmouth and the MCU changed absolutely everything about the character except for the part where he can mimic skills.

They also keep misusing "fridged". Fridiging a character isn't just a character dying, it's a villain killing a loved one of the hero which then is the motivitation for the rest of the story. i.e. John Wick's dog is fridged.

Comics taskmaster is a pretty cool guy. He kills aliens and doesn't afraid of anything Its not that he's a loud mouth, its that he's a blue collar working stiff, which is honestly a pretty refreshing take.

While every other asshole with super powers decides to go rob banks in daylight / try and convert the population into genetic freaks / have a blood vendetta with someone or something loosely connected to their origin or whatever / demonstrate mutant supremacy etc, he decided "Well, I can fight like anyone I watch fight, so I can market that" by running training camps for goons and henchmen so when captain america or wolverine or daredevil or whoever shows up to wreck their shit, they've already fought against someone with the same moves and tactics and I guess hold them up a bit longer while their boss escapes in their rocket car or whatever.

His costume is also pretty cool looking, albeit in a kind of corny way. Plus a surprisingly poignant back story

For a little bit now I've been thinking of adjusting the way I dress to look a bit more professional given where I work. Just a bit. It's not just for work because I think I would like to generally dress better but I have some concerns, many of which are probably dumb.

I have very little fashion sense and always have to google if certain colors match with each other. For example, I have these burgundy pants sitting in my closet that I never wear because idk wtf matches with that besides white and I don't own a lot of white. I also have purple pants and even purple shoes that were a gift. What is that?

I've also googled black men fashion or casual business wear, casual wear, etc. and I get endless pictures of people dripped out of their goddamn minds. Surely people don't actually dress this way regularly. I don't think I ever see it. Everyone also wears either chukka boots or loafers without socks or no show socks or something. Is this a thing now? Where are the socks?

I also think I'm just kind of self-conscious about too drastically changing how I dress even at work where I could honestly afford to dress a bit more professionally. By professionally I mean like a dress shirt and dress shoes. Pants are a mystery. Don't get me started on shoe and belt color. But I guess I don't necessarily wanna stand out that much? I don't like attention. I genuinely like the tucked in dress shirt, dress pants, dress shoe look. No tie or jacket or anything. It's clean as hell. But then I think to myself, "is this too much?" The answer is probably no but I still have those thoughts.

I also don't really go out so there's that. I'm not about to go to the movies with dress pants and a dress shirt. It seems wrong. Or a bar depending on the bar. I know it's dumb but I don't like the idea of standing out too much but I also want to dress better. Help.

Turning to a gaming forum for fashion advice. 

Dressing for the office as a man is the most simple thing in the universe, especially if you're not wearing a tie or suit. 

Match shoes with belt, wear a white shirt and any colour pants. If you add patterns to one item, don't wear patterns on the other. The hardest thing is matching a coloured shirt to pants and that is easy if you have plain black pants. Almost everything goes with black. Never wear white pants.
