Currently sicker than I’ve been in quite some time. Wearing a mask whenever I go indoors out of courtesy for others. It sucks. Wearing masks isn’t uncommon in Japan, but man, I can’t imagine a scenario where Americans or the western world at large wears masks. Actually I don’t know why I had so many spare masks in my bag. Odd.

Thanks and if it got worse I have friends and resources. I’m too stubborn to resort to it but it’s gotten better enough that I’m comfortable making bad 2020 memory hole jokes. Just, especially with Tokyo sized apartments, it’s not great to be bottled up. Most routines like gym and cafes and even trains I wasn’t gonna risk for others. Even the worst of it on Saturday, I dragged myself out for a walk. 

The most shocking part is learning how chicken noodle soup doesn’t exist here. Of all the soups.

I tried one of those prebiotic Poppi grape sodas. Not bad tasting, if you're used to diet sodas. Was $2.18 for a 12oz can. 30 calories with 5 g of sugar 3 g of fiber 30 calories.  I guess they need to be refrigerated too.

I'm taking a bunch of vitamin and mineral supplements(Vitamin A, D, Magnesium, Zinc, Copper etc.) along with ginseng. I don't like the powder drinks so I got the pills. 
Said to boost the immune system, beneficial for work outs and has some other benefits as well. 

I certainly have a bit more stamina after I started with these not sure if it does anything else but we'll see.

I was at dinner with a mixed group and these two guys were like "would you suck another dude off for a million dollars?" to each other...and these were young guys, easily 15 years younger than me. 

As they hemmed and hawed I broke in and said "yes, with zero hesitation...I mean, it's a million dollars guys, it's not even that much work! I'd do it for 500 thousand. Honestly I'd do it for 5000. Might even consider it for 500."

Since they were young, I expected them to agree or at least be amused--even though I was being entirely truthful--and I was shocked by how uncomfortable they got. Like, I felt genuinely judged. Fuck me for trying to connect with the youths, am I right?

Discussed the youth with another business owner today. She doesn't really understand what's wrong with them. They were supposed to do something during her vacation and they just gave up. She was like: "What the fuck is wrong with these kids". They just give up. Some just ghost and quit their jobs for no reason even. It's wild.

Set the stage for date 2 and 3 with the Latina. She proposed date 2 but came short on details, she likes me to lead and plan so I took that out of her hands.

Date 2 is just before I leave and just when she's done with her medicine so it'll be relaxed. Musica, the small bottle of champagne to celebrate her work rebellion and all those kisses I promised.

Putting less weight on it was a winner, she's going to arrange a babysitter for friday. Already got her into "pissed at the ex" territory for not communicating his work schedule well.

Date 3 will be the movie and the big bottle of champagne. Home coming celebration when I return and she'll be fully recovered. We'll have all the time in the world for our devious schemes.

Considering all that happened after date 1, I figured it would be better to not get too serious until after I'm back from my vacation. Just keep the trust and connection, she's already planning how to make time to date more in her own way, babysitters, getting the work schedules of the ex in advance etc. . 

Also had another 'oh I guess I like that revelation', piano music. It's crazy how much stuff I like is piano, from Zimmer to Zelda and JRPGs. Hell I watched Koji Kondo and Zimmer play live at their concerts. I'm getting a piano with my upcoming bonus when I'm back, those digital things are fairly cheap. She doesn't know it yet but she'll love it. She planted that idea in my head after all.
