Pakistan is demonstrating why relying on terrorist militias to fill gaps in the military can backfire. They are hard to control, especially when trying to establish a temporary ceasefire. Curious

They don't listen to Zardari, only Allah.

We should allow it because this 'america won ww2' is driving the Russians bonkers mad.

The Great Patriotic war is really all they have that holds their swamp together and now Trump is saying: "Nah, we won that war pretty easily when you couldn't"

When Putin and Trump finally meet to discuss Ukraine, that'll be the topic of their entire meeting.
Because Putin "the historian" can't let that go and Trump won't budge. He never does.

And with everything important, unlike Putin who is part of a traumatized Russian family, Trump truely doesn't give a shit about WW2.

Except he's budged on almost everything, especially these tariffs.

Quote:The law on use of national airspace was initiated after several incidents in which Russian attack drones targeting southern Ukraine’s Odesa Oblast entered Romanian airspace. The legislation was finally approved by Parliament in February 2025.

Romania’s far-right parties challenged the law in the Constitutional Court but lost the case.

Damn, now Romania doesn't want Russin UAVs buzzing their airspace? Must be because Putin doesn't need it anymore Putin

Hamas welcomes position of Britain, France, Canada, calls for it to be translated into practical steps
Quote:Hamas welcomed on Monday evening "the joint statement issued by the leaders of Britain, France, and Canada, which expressed a principled position rejecting the policy of blockade and starvation pursued by the fascist enemy government against our people in the Gaza Strip, and the Zionist plans aimed at genocide and forced displacement."

In a statement, the movement considered "this position an important step in the right direction toward restoring respect for the principles of international law, which the terrorist Netanyahu government has sought to undermine and overthrow," calling for "this position to be urgently translated into effective practical steps that deter the occupation and put an end to the worsening humanitarian tragedy in the Gaza Strip, caused by the Zionist war machine."

It also called on "Arab and Islamic countries, the European Union, and all other free nations of the world to take urgent action and take firm positions and concrete measures to halt the barbaric Zionist aggression, curb the ongoing crimes of the occupation, and work seriously to hold this rogue entity accountable and punish its leaders as war criminals, ensuring the protection of civilians and putting an end to the fascism of the occupation and the crime of genocide and ethnic cleansing to which our people in the Gaza Strip are being subjected."

UN Official claims on BBC radio that 14,000 babies will die of malnutrition in the next 48 hours, claim goes viral, is false.

Quote:When pressed on how he had arrived at that figure, he said there were "strong teams on the ground" operating in medical centres and schools - but did not provide further details.

The BBC later asked for clarification on the figure from the UN's Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UNOCHA), which said: "We are pointing to the imperative of getting supplies in to save an estimated 14,000 babies suffering from severe acute malnutrition in Gaza, as the IPC partnership has warned about. We need to get the supplies in as soon as possible, ideally within the next 48 hours."

It highlighted a report from the Integrated Food Security Phase Classification (IPC) which stated 14,100 severe cases of acute malnutrition are expected to occur among children aged six to 59 months between April 2025 and March 2026.

The IPC report says this could take place over the course of about a year - not 48 hours.

The UN being nothing but a grift is one of the saddest stories in 20-something years.

But it makes sense considering the state of the world.

The UN literally believes it has the right to lie, it's policy.
