I'm going from sharing a 3 bedroom home with a roommate, to a 2 bedroom apartment by myself. And the difference is overwhelming.

I'm nervous about living alone for the first time in my life. I'm nervous about this surge of free space I have. That second bedroom is going to be an office slash guest bedroom slash beauty parlor.

But outside of that, I have living room and dining room. A balcony and a back porch. A kitchen that will only have my things in it. A clawfoot tub big enough for me to fall asleep in. And I'm scared as shit.

I've never loved lived alone before.

My first time living alone came in my mid-30s at the very start of the pandemic. That kind of fucked with my head a little because I was both a) alone for the first time, and b) alone for the first time. Not being able to invite friends over or even leave to see people wasn't the best way to start living on my own.

BUT. I came to really enjoy the freedom that would end up coming from it and I think it's natural to be nervous at first. (And I guarantee you'll end up making use of all of that free space. And the clawfoot tub.)

All multiplayer games have micro transactions these days. I find it funnier that $80 a year from tens of millions of people can’t guarantee a first party multiplayer only game stays online for more than a month.
