I hope this wasn't done as an act to benefit Palestine. Random violence literally does nothing. All this will be used for is further bipartisan violence against pro-Palestinian voices. Feels like situations like this may become more common in the future, which is not a good thing at all. There's a desperation for something and the never ending escalation will lead more people into thinking this random spree of violence will do anything meaningful at all. Political violence has lead to major changes, but it was never just random attacks on, especially, civilians, and it never will. Even random attacks on political enemies of fascists is a coordinated effort that is planned out.

Though, I will say that you cannot argue on behalf of genocide peacefully. We don't think Nazi rallies are peaceful, c'mon now. The fact that this is so normal in this country is fucking sick. We've learned nothing over years of committing genocide and pretending to be sorry about it.

I wasn't meaning to imply that it was or might be a false flag, just that it's an incident that the fascists will use to justify granting themselves emergency powers to complete their takeover.

This is another example where it's so maddening that these dudes constantly use Nazi/Weimar references but know nothing at all about the history. The Reichstag Fire wasn't just some random event during a time of complete peace that the Nazis said "see, terrible, we need special powers!" There had a been a low level civil war of street battles for like a decade between paramilitaries of the various parties, thousands had died. The Communists were doing this kind of thing all the time (which is why historians doubt it needed to be a false flag), every Chancellor before Hitler had received special powers to fight these and the Nazis among others. Before Hitler even was offered power Hindenburg suspended a bunch of political rights and decreed the death penalty for anyone who did political violence because of how out of control things were. The entire promise of Hitler to a lot of people was that he could end the violence and the fear that if he wasn't brought into government the Nazis would make all the prior stuff look tame.

Thanos was an absolutely laughable antagonist. His motivation in Endgame was so intellectually reductive and binary it was almost offensive. One of the worst parts of the films and a large part of the reason why Infinity War is held in higher esteem. At least in that film they actually attempted to flesh his desire for universal balance out to a degree before ultimately having him slip into a typical power hungry villain trope.

I'm 6'6 MTF and ready to start HRT but I can't help but feel like I will never pass because of my height and its bumming me out...

Title basically explains it all. I'm self conscious of how tall I am as a presenting male and I worry that it will only get worse when I start HRT and want to start presenting as a woman. Anyone have any advice on how to get over this?

I've started buying womens clothing but I'm not experiencing the gender euphoria I expected to when putting them on. Instead I just see a man wearing a bra and panties. Im really discouraged. Hi all,

Having a hard time knowing where to turn because I don't really have any good friends to talk to.

I've been married for nearly 15 years, together for 17. After years of miscommunication leading to blowups, it seems like we won't be reconciling this time. We have 2 kids and a few other complicated things to tackle.

I am fucking struggling with this so bad. I don't know how I am just supposed to exist now? I've dedicated my life to this family, I don't know how I'm supposed to get by day to day without everything reminding me of her. At first I thought I could be strong and positive but now that discussions have started I am neither of those things.

It's the lowest I've felt in my whole life. The only thing I can think of is purging everything that I can to eliminate the memories. Also I am almost 40 and it feels so bad to be starting over now. I'm going through the same thing currently.

10 year relationship came to a screeching halt after I proposed to her last December. She said yes, then changed her mind and gave me the ring back 9 days later with a laundry list of grievances she had but never mentioned.
