If any normal member tried to explain why it's actually ok to make fun of guys for being bald and having small dicks (as long as they're not in therapy) they would have been permabanned and retroactively character assassinated in record time but since one of the forum cops did it the usual suspects are there to protect their own.

And Death Stranding is a funny one, I was convinced it sucked on launch but I finished it this past xmas and it was AMAZING. So I'm mega double down for death stranding 2. Funny how opinions can change over time when you don't have a gun to your head.

Related, I think. Seeing arguments now about how the height thing is “racist” because it filters out South Asians. Apparently, and somebody who used these apps could correct me here, there was a point where they let you filter by race? And the conspiracy is this is all an elaborate scheme to bring that back.

Well I've elaborated on this in the kulturkampf thread and for the "women ordering dates like clothes and ubers" dating market, the product filters make total sense. I think we'll see things like glasses, hair color etc. fairly soon too. Swiping through everyone is just a nightmare.

The vibe was completely murdered in an app I've been using to meet people
Quote:I've been using this one app that has you meet 6 randos for dinner every wednesday. It's honestly been pretty fun, I can be social for a few hours and have a few drinks. And it was working fine, got a few friends. But over the last month or so the vibe has completely died
a certain demographic of men from a certain country started flooding onto this app, and the vibe started to die. Because of this, many of the women started leaving, and then the app implemented women's only nights on a different day, which is basically a knife in the heart of most guys using it, since now every dinner is all dudes (50% of said certain demographic) and the bars afterwards are 90% those dudes floating around the 3 girls who showed up who will surely be scared off and never show up again
fuck me, it was fun while it lasted at least.

MGS V was a very busywork kind of game. Better than Death Stranding’s busywork, but still a busywork game that it’s easy for someone to never finish. I never got to see the “end” of the game myself. Not that anyone gives a shit about videogames, but I will always defend MGSV on the basis that is fine that it is unfinished. Whether that's by intent or by accident, the game just "works" better like this IMO.
Depending on the day, I might actually say it is Kojima's best work, as a game and as a narrative.

I've been reading Joss' husband was seemingly decades younger than him and may have been a KOTH fan / had shipped themselves with KOTH characters??? I really, sincerely hope I'm wrong and there was nothing weird or exploitative from either of them, those are circumstances that are tough not to find potentially troubling. Either way, RIP Joss, and a horrible update.
That whole thread is interesting. First off the husband completely lied about their neighbors burning their house down and killing their 3 dogs. They did that on their own after a barbecue. You would think that little lie would put into question the entirety of the husbands statement, but nope, Era has doubled and tripled down on believing it instead. Retards there also cannot read what the police have stated, instead choosing to read that the cops have 100% already ruled out that the killing had to do with their sexual orientation.
As an aside you have the whole age gap thing. 30 year difference. It's the worst thing ever if a straight relationship but Era sleeps here.

This applies to many open world games. MGSV, for being several times longer than any other MGS game, has fewer memorable moments. Argument of emergent gameplay creating unique moments. Sure. I guess. But then it’s that for dozens of hours. After a while you’ve optimized your approach to every encounter, every base, and you’re going through the motions. It needed more missions where you get high from torching weed crops and skrillex plays.
