So Ubisoft made Men's Mental Health Awareness month post rather than Pride Month and now the usual crowd is declaring victory by being assholes, which could have been easily avoided if they made both posts at once but they didn't, made worse by so many companies no longer changing their profile pictures

I do not know how Ubisoft is so tone deaf, because let be real despite being important in general the only reason your ever see someone bring it up is always against Pride Month

The point of a review is to let people know if what they're looking to spend their money on is worth it or if it works as advertised. It's a form of consumer protection and advocacy provided by news organizations. Reviews allow us to ensure that things work the way they are supposed to and that we get what we pay for.

Beyond that, at a time when actual journalism is under attack by pretty much everyone, we shouldn't be playing platform warrior given the importance of this issue. You might be buying it without worrying about a review, I already am, but that doesn't mean that reviews are meaningless and hold no value. They're one of the few ways we have to ensure that the companies looking to sell us things are being honest.

We will moderate posts that try to downplay this issue.

I'm getting the Switch 2 with Mario Kart World, Bravely Default, and Rune Factory this week.
Then there's Raidou Remastered, Persona 5 X, and Death Stranding 2 later this month.
Then Donkey Kong next month and Metal Gear in August.
Well, I'll probably be okay by August. But I'll be playing Raidou and Death Stranding at least all throughout July.
