This song is addressed to the republican right wing.  The President (Trump) is their leader and their God. Grace asks them to question their belief that their leader is their God. If he is, how's that possible? Aren't we all God's children? Don't we all deserve his love?  Is God's love reserved only for those who look and think like you? If so he's no God at all. How can he be? He's no different than you are. If God is love where the hatred is coming from?
