Trans kids aren't going to be erased by this, even though there will be a human cost. They will suffer unnecessary pain. They will be denied experiences they could otherwise have been afforded. They will have a harder time passing, should they wish to, or for those of us that are non-binary they will suffer gendered traits they don't want that will take surgery or painful treatments to correct.

And here's the thing I fully believe this current generation of young adults and trans kids *will* get access to gender affirming care down the line. It may be hard to predict when, but I believe it will happen for them.

I have faith in most of them to stay strong in the face of cruelty *no one* should suffer. Far too many will falter, and their names will be brandished on the foreheads of the people that made this happen, but also the people who didn't fight against it.

As a people though, we are not going anywhere, and we will welcome these brave kids and young adults to our communities. We will show them that a fulfilling life can be lived, even facing discrimination no one should have to tolerate.

Most will outlive these fascists, and this current indefensible wave of transphobia. Most will outlive me.

Taking away our medicine is a cruelty no trans person should face just the same of being denied it in the first place. But it won't change who we *know* ourselves to be. It won't stop it being true that trans men are men. That trans women are women. That non-binary identities exist. No religious extremist, cowardly felon, or weak-willed fool that failed to learn the lessons of fascism can change that.

They have chosen a fight they will lose. They will no doubt take pleasure in the losses we sustain. But they will lose. Because all we have to do is survive them.

And the vast majority of these 3000 brave spirits sure as shit will.

While providing gender affirming care is the only defensible position on this topic, it does not *define* us, and whatever the transphobes think doesn't define us either.

If you're 25 and under and trans, I fucking see you. I fucking love you. I will do what little I can to make sure the path you walk is easier than the path I was forced to walk.

Uhm maybe this is a good thread to ask but is there a mod that tones down the sexual content a bit? I'm fine with hot women but maybe something that is a bit more appealing to queer women and nonbinaries than to straight men. I think Nier Automata is great, something like that.
