I actively look at ResetEra regularly...like someone else said, it's still useful as a news aggregator.

There are some normal threads, but even then the temperature is just hot all over the forum. It's crazy when you can pop over to NeoGAF and see "the chuds" being relatively normal to each other on any given topic, but in Era they're tearing each other's throat out over Superman trailers and Pokemon image quality (or whatever).

But, genuinely when there's a kerfuffle, locked thread, ban wave, etc. Nepenthe is not far away in 80% of cases. I don't even think the Bire catches all instances...she's inexhaustible (and, if I may armchair psychoanalyze, sees the constant pushback and dustups as a validation, and so is encouraged to keep stepping it up).

Work is underway to assess whether any damage has been caused, it is understood. No operations or planned movements are thought to have been affected.


A senior RAF source told Sky News: "The claims made by the group who broke into RAF Brize Norton show a complete lack of understanding of how the RAF operates and what these aircraft do. The UK is not supporting Israeli operations and these aircraft have not been used in support of Israeli forces in any shape or form."

They broke into the airbase and spraypainted two refueler airplanes and hit them with crowbars.  What exactly was the end-game there.  The military commander would see the spraypaint and drop his coffee in the slow motion Usual Suspects scene and go "Dear god....they're....right...about everything."   Other protest organizations around the world inspired by the bravery of Operation Paint and Dent.
