There's nothing weird about that email. It's kind of sweet and very much a supportive, "I'm with you" kind of message. To pull that out as some sort of gotcha years later is unhinged and shows what sort of fucked up personality Zoe Quinn really is.

This is another one of those posts that I mean with true sincerity.

I think a certain contingent of people need to decouple their idea of the perfect leftist candidate being indefinitely antagonistic to Democrats.

Mamdani is the Democratic nominee for Mayor of New York City. He got there…because Democrats voted for him.

Not the anti-establishment. NY is a closed primary state.

Rank-and-file Democrats liked what Mamdani stood for and supported him.

I think there's anger by some New York Democrats like Kathy Hochul and Kirsten Gillibrand for refusing to back him and the latter trying to stoke fearmongering in an interview with Brian Lehrer. Bookstore with a highly specific clientele in the most left-wing city that's probably sold zero copies of Harry Potter books in years gives into capitalism and gets free advertising (just search them to see how many news stories they've gotten from this) from taking a brave and stunning stance telling their customers what they want to hear and making them feel that their cumsoomering will be for a good cause.

The Instagram post boldly informs their customers that they'll help them find other fantasy books to purchase increasing the amount of PROFIT for the capitalists that run the bookstore and landlords that own the property. (No word on if they've checked to make sure those books aren't sending any revenue to the publisher of Joanne's hate screeds.)

Anti-capitalist forum shows zero skepticism of any motives involved and cheers yet another powerful blow against global fascism by the capitalist class.
