We have no way of knowing if other text was AI generated and we'll never know, and that goes for very single game we play.

Personally, I can understand them overlooking a single instance of placeholder text.

What I don't understand is using AI at all for the things. Just generate a string of Lorem Ipsum text and use that. Big reason is that it is far less likely to be overlooked (we use this in Web development and it works perfectly, no need to generate AI text for these things).

We cannot put the genie back in the bottle, gen AI is here to stay and many projects are using it in ways we'll never know, but that's no reason to not keep the pressure up. As Gen AI improves it will lead to loss of or less jobs in future, this stuff needs heavy regulation to protect these things, the more we voice our concerns the more chance that will happen.

Personally I'm a bit defeated here, I'm writing a novel, making music, and dabbling in artwork, all creative processes threatened by these tools. Feels like an unwinnable battle right now, but I'm glad so many keep their votes raised.

Turning Res was successful for a COVID film and Elemental was not really a success but a talking point.

In any regard, I feel these insiders are a little biased because:

The changes to Elio were clear to one former Pixar artist who worked on the film and asked to remain anonymous: "It was pretty clear through the production of the first version of the film that [studio leaders] were constantly sanding down these moments in the film that alluded to Elio's sexuality of being queer."

the movie would not have done one iota better if those scenes had remained, except for the minor factor of upset conservatives labeling the film woke making a couple people go see it in protest or whatever, like lightyear
