Reminds me of the Op Ed in the Times where a professor was lamenting how Columbia was being locked out of academic circles because of working with the Trump admin and its unfair because they were the victims when they came after them (forgetting the issue is how quick they cow towed to the fascists).

Its not a case of 'Hey, in three years and back to normal', it fundamentally changes the way your school is seen and a black mark on higher education in general. A place that's been undergoing transition even before this piece of shit showed up. Even if you're a bigot, this was a terrible move that will haunt them for decades. Can't claim to care about your students if you will fuck them over for living. And back to Columbia, other schools might not want to be associated with the stench.

Even though there's only one women's sports league and it solely exists to give money to arenas during the NBA offseason. And would immediately cease to exist if the NBA ever stopped subsidizing it and mandating partners support it in their contracts.
