A Europol-supported operation, led by German authorities and involving law enforcement from eight countries, has led to the takedown of the two largest cybercrime forums in the world.

The two platforms, Cracked and Nulled, had more than 10 million users in total. Both of these underground economy forums offered a quick entry point into the cybercrime scene. These sites worked as one-stop shops and were used not only for discussions on cybercrime but also as marketplaces for illegal goods and cybercrime-as-a-service, such as stolen data, malware or hacking tools. Investigators estimate that suspects earned EUR 1 million in criminal profits.

The 34-year-old son of NBA great Michael Jordan was arrested early Tuesday in central Florida on a misdemeanor drug charge after police officers found his car stuck on railroad tracks minutes before a commuter train was scheduled to pass, authorities said.

Marcus Jordan was charged with possession of cocaine, a second-degree misdemeanor, and resisting an officer without violence, also a misdemeanor, according to online court records.

Officers with the Maitland Police Department found Jordan’s Lamborghini sports utility vehicle immobile on railroad tracks in the suburb of Orlando, Florida, with a commuter train just 10 minutes away, because the vehicle’s tires were buried in dirt and rock from being spun repeatedly, according to an arrest report.

Officers learned that Jordan had just fled from a traffic stop in a neighboring county. They asked him to get out of the vehicle after smelling alcohol and noticing his slurred speech and confusion. They found a bag of what tested positive for cocaine in his pants, the arrest report said.

Jordan, a former University of Central Florida basketball player, refused to talk to reporters when he was released Tuesday from the Orange County Jail.

Sacramento deputy overdosed on fentanyl while on duty in 2023, new report finds

A Sacramento sheriff's deputy who was revived by Narcan in 2023, after what was believed to be a chemical exposure at the time, actually suffered a fentanyl overdose, authorities said.

I'm not saying we should reject all professionals/experts/scientific determinations because that would be insane, but at a certain point you realize everyone is just scratching their head and muddling through, everyone has an agenda, everyone will downplay their failures and suppress inconvenient things that prevent them from achieving their goals
