It's an easy way to track which posters need attention.  I figured this one was beneath Nepenthe, Royaalyn and B-dubs.  But their need for affirmation proved too strong.

Its literally an improv performance, but the intended goal isn't comedy but ratcheting up outrage by 'yes, and'ing every fucking retarded piece of mental gymnastics into a truthfact to be endlessly cited in future as justification for whatever shittiness they want to pull under the banner of righteous indignation, and because anyone trying to dial the rhetoric down gets banned for dismissing concerns, it just accelerates into self parody.

For awhile it seemed like Sydney was using her status as "hot blonde american girl" to further her career but people(me too) saw it as a woman inside a ruthless and misogynistic industry turning what people say about her into something empowering.Hollywood loves having s sex symbol and not taking them seriously as an artist, meanwhile Sydney makes commercials jokinh about her boobs to put her foot inside the industry.
Sex appeal is absolutely alright if it's the person comfortable choosing that path.

Alt-right as in alternative right as in same general interests and goals but different on the specifics like alternative rock. Typically younger so more open to violent video games, portrayals of sex, cursing, edgy racism, outright insults, etc. Mitt Romney, George W. Bush, William F. Buckley Jr., etc. would not be alt-right, hence why they differ on almost all of that stuff but are still "right" rather than left or centrist. Not the first time it's happened, the WFB and Reaganite strains were different in the same regard from the Dewey/Nixon/Rockefeller Right they replaced, more evangelically religious and so more socially conservative, also more Southern and Western culturally.

Not that hard to understand if you can comprehend that different people have different interests and beliefs even if they may align strategically or tactically in certain circumstances or for a broader goal.

Almost nothing for me. The most interesting part was the showing for Cronos. I started a personal project years ago, a 2D sidescroller, that had many of these same ideas. Enemies that absorb fallen monsters to get stronger. Time rifts. Hallucinations. But I never finished it. It reminded me of my own failed project and made me feel bad.

So I felt no enthusiasm for the announcements and also became depressed.
