idk man, shit's bleak. I've been re-dipping my toes into non-ranked battles and it's just such a downer. Every team is the same combination of Magearna and Annihilape, or some combination of nothing but legendaries and mythicals. It's depressing enough as an adult, but I can't imagine how off-putting trying that out is for a kid. There needs to be a casual mode that limits things to just normal non-special Pokémon.

All I want to do is run a team of 6 perfectly normal Pokémon and see how I fare against 6 other perfectly normal Pokémon. I don't care about your Shiny Darkrai and Shiny Zamazenta combo.

1. You're not good enough to turn pro anyway, even though there's no professional sports leagues for women except for basketball and golf. (And the former would stop existing the instant the NBA stops subsidizing it because it loses tens of millions a year.)
2. Women's sports not allowing men only reinforces the patriarchy.
3. People who want women's sports to only have women in it just want women to not play sports at all and stay in the home, so you should give up your spot in sports to deny them a victory.
4. If women's sports are restricted to women they'll come for the gays and Black people next.
5. Gay men owe it to trans women because they got rights first or something I'm not exactly sure what this one is supposed to be.
6. The inclusion and acceptance of men in women's sports matters over anything else.

How are they not winning on this issue with arguments like these?
