Cuomo doesn't have any avenues of attack so he is quite literally just throwing out whatever he thinks will work.

The latest in his strategy is just embarrassing given his wealth, and the numbers he quotes in that tweet are nothing to write home about; 200k a year combined for a couple is pretty normal, especially in NYC with its HCOL.

I may not appreciate Zohran very much due to certain leftist stances he has but his opposition is so uniquely terrible that it makes him look like a saint politically. Might be the most grounded mayoral candidate NYC has ever had. It's also saying something that the most corporate-linked candidates and orgs are pushing against him hard, reminds me of Bernie all over again.

Anyway, can someone tell me why people care so much about NYC's mayoral election across the USA and internationally? It's a strong political position, but the NYS governor is more important and has more power.
