Depends on the situation.

I know people close to me for example who are going through hardships because of decisions and choices they have made and I don't really feel any empathy or sympathy. I definitely do for people who are innocent victims of course.

Yes, I do. I knew a highly narcissistic individual who once admitted to me that she didn't understand how it was possible to empathize with other people -- and that if you try, you only see your own thoughts or feelings.

I initially found this really shocking and disturbing, and eventually I came to pity her after coming to learn more about how things like narcissistic personality disorder start to develop in early childhood.

It’s not just Chun Li. Cammy, Manon, and Kimberly have similar levels of detailed cake.

Not only is it detailed but with better jiggle physics than Dead or Alive. That’s ridiculous

I am... amazed at the level of skin detail for a fighting game model. Butt also wow.

There's also sadly more detail in that bit of skin than all of the female character models of Tekken combined.

I dont even think Stellar Blade has this level of detail up close.

Tekken has too many same face and same body type characters. Its too much copy and paste for my liking.

I think a lot of what bugs me about the SF stuff is just how high fidelity the assets have become in the RE engine. While the cast is still very stylized in shapes and proportions, they aren't a sprite or a manga panel or even the featureless rubbery flesh of the earlier generations' 3d models. The way you can see the pores and the sweat and the way the jiggle has inertia and weight related to like rotating around a hypothetical bone or muscle, it all just amps the leering up to a wildly uncomfortable place. These are not the vague silhouettes of a woman on a truck's mud flaps, it's pretty raunchy.

I've also always been just plain perplexed about why people buy these outfits in particular. Why, when we are all constantly online and a few phone taps from an inexhaustible supply of free pornography of any video game character, would you pay to mildly titillate yourself during a separate activity? There's something upsettingly performative about the act of announcing your desire to get horny into a public space in the way repping a gooner outfit does.

And lastly for fighting games in particular, these women are unavoidably going to be getting the shit beat of them for at least half the time they are on the screen. It's a 1v1 game and matchmaking will put you against appropriate opponents sooner or later. So, you reduced this martial artist or assassin or whatever to a doll to leer at... And you did it in a context where they're gonna be in street fights or mortal kombats or whatever? You're gonna really get an eye-full of that ass jiggling like you like as she gets punched in the stomach or smashed into the ground or whatever? It's all so deeply fucking weird.

I keep seeing a lot of people on the left on social media and elsewhere talking about how the people on the left need to get a gun and to arm themselves with what is going on in the US currently. I am not a gun person (I think they should be severely restricted full stop if not completely outlawed) and it just reminds me of the people on the right who for years have been saying the same thing when it was "wokeness" coming to "destroy us all" and whatever and I just can't help but see it as an absolute absurdity.

Like I get the fear and the frustration that people are feeling but it seems so much like some sort of collective fantasy. I know this is going to be taken as me saying we should just lie down and accept things when that is not the case. I just think people using this one man army fantasy they have going on is detrimental to the actual things that need to happen to try to fix this mess we are in. The "you need to have a gun" thing feels like some sort of coping mechanism these people are using to give themselves the feeling that they are doing something without actually having to do anything. I get it, we're all terrified of what is happening, we all feel hopeless. And to be blunt I don't have any better ideas besides working in your local community and continuing to be outspoken. I just don't want to see so many people taking this real threat in america as some sort of fantasy role play. It seems like such a severe main character syndrome response where people feel like we're going to mad max our way out of the dire situation we are in where they can feel powerful by frankly doing nothing.

I don't know if this is really making any sense, but I would love to hear some others' thoughts.

Almost every person I have met who owns guns does not deserve them. They are either not responsible enough to have them, or they are actively using drugs that make gun possession illegal
