It is a stupid move but y'all act if this game is friggin Last of Us 2 and not a Soulslike. The story is barely there anyways, it's a gameplay ass game.

Also this is a complicated subject in China and the devs had no other choice, the last thing devs need is non-chinese players cry about 'muh censorship' about something they barely even know.

(Also the game plays much better after the patch)

My parents used to rent out a space for such a gambling machine. They got rid of it because the payment by the owner didn’t come regularly.

One nice perk was though that you could estimate when the machine was full and ready to pay out a jackpot. My brothers and our staffers would try their luck and most of the time won the jackpot.

Anyway, it’s additional money for small businesses, something they should be sympathetic of.
