The historical knowledge (even for easily accessible things from Wikipedia) on that forum is atrocious but she easily has to be one of the absolute worst if not the very worst due to her arrogant ignorance.

One of the major problems on that forum, and this dates back to when many of them were lobbying for me to be banned from NeoGAF.com for making this evident too often, is that they all have narrow parochial knowledge that they think they are unparalleled masters and experts of. And effortlessly so too, which is why you have things like the staff suggesting they can learn Indian history in a few hours or understand the "correct" view of highly technical disputed topics. It's one big dishonest game where the mythological critical theory of ideology comes true and is imposed by power.

It mostly stems from the fact that when someone like Hodgy comes in and goes "African Americans earned their civil rights through peacful protest until the government decided they had been wrong all this time", she comes in and reminds them that MLK was a socialist, that there was a lot of violence and threats of violence that revolved around getting civil rights in America, it was absolutely not a popular position at the time and did long term political damage, etc. That kind of thing. In a forum full of people who legitimately believe the country would have been saved and perfect had Hillary been elected, it's nice to see someone with the attitude of "America has always sucked and has been broken in severe ways".

I despise the whitewashing of history libs do, and it extends into the hypocrisy Era shows in their moderation policy. Anything to get their headpats.

It's a reference to the Soviets using their tanks to crush the Hungarian Revolution which split Western communists/leftists. Tankies were those who didn't turn against the Soviets.
