My 5 year olds memory is scary good. He has detailed recollections of things that happened to him when he was 2, and will pull us up on incorrect details if we are telling stories of family outings from years ago. He also gets really upset remembering traumatic events from years ago, very much like he's reliving the memory. He's also probably mildly autistic, definitely wired a bit differently. I'm sure it's not at this level, but I do find it fascinating (and also realise my own memory is a bit crap)
