Kulturkampf
why didn't she actually just say "I disavow his murder, I disagreed with him politically but that never justifies violence, and I feel terrible for his wife and kids?"

even if that doesn't stop the deluge, it lets you claim a lot more legitimacy and pity points, incontrovertible proof that the site is incorrect about you

is it that hard?

I have no sympathy for people who spew gobshite and advocate violence and face the...gasp consequences of their actions!

These are the same people who would turn around and cancel people (get people fired and or killed) for lukewarm takes!

I'm a big fan of when they can't do the reasonable thing and just indoctrinate the children without doing the obviously stupid thing that's going to upset everyone and draw attention to everything they were doing.

This "crackdown" on violenceposting by orgs is 100% just there to protect their funding or to prevent themselves from being sued.

It's funny how the threat of monetary loss is all it really takes.

What's not funny is that it took this long for the government and other agencies to actually enforce things like this and Title VI violations which have been flagrantly done in the open for decades..

Famously, no one has ever reacted with rage when their loved one was violently killed

This sounds pretty close to armchair diagnosing, maybe let the psychologist who specializes in bereavement handle things.
