My sister in law had her daughter taken away by CFS because of the same thing. She refused to get rid of the cat and her ex was able to get custody. That was in Canada though.

Any film that has the audacity to show animal death deserves to be banned. You want to kill off an innocent creature to show how evil or messed up a villain is, then show them killing a child or a baby. Animals matter more than humans.

I’m serious. You don’t mess with animals in fiction, even if they’re fictional. The number one rule in all of filmmaking is you never harm or kill off the pets. This show deserved its fate for upsetting people that way.

At least it wasn’t as bad as 13 Sins. In that film there’s a gross scene where a guy has to choose between killing a human or a cute dog, and he chooses the dog. I can’t imagine anyone who would be psychotic enough to do that.
