What are they not watching/reading: CNN, MSNBC, newspapers etc. . I've not seen a modern day Jon Stewart or Stephen Colbert combo that got a lot of young people interested in politics and liberal ideals either on or off the internet.

Everything they care about got hit hard by the inflation and things that were normal for the middle class (house, car etc.) are getting further out of reach.
