And I don't see people directing animosity at all Sucker Punch developers, but their leadership that kowtowed to fascists.

I think so many Americans, and beyond really, have this narcissist conception of politics where someone with self-declared perfect morals just yells their demands and then like all of reality reshapes itself to match the interests of the main character. Other people, other interests, simply don't ever exist except as this sort of nebulous evil opposition that refuses to obey the Chosen because the cruelty is the point. It's obvious, and has been obvious, in progressive circles for many decades, the Obama campaign was literally this idea nearly personified. But these days MAGA isn't any different, especially because this is and has always been Trump's own perception of how, well, everything works. Politics has been abstracted away entirely from "politics" as the "engaged" practice it. The frontlines are Jimmy Kimmel not elections, those exist merely as the scoreboard of who is winning the endless war where politics is everything and so nothing and in the end politics itself isn't ever a concern.

If you want political power the burden is on you to place your interests below enough other people's until you achieve a majority that brings your interests in with it. This should be so obvious that it need not be said but so many on Era, Bluesky and Twitter seem to believe otherwise that they must not actually want political power. As Zack Snyder said "with great power comes great responsibility" and the last thing they want is responsibility of any kind. In the case of Era, you can just look at how they moderate their video game forum. More broadly how nothing is ever their fault, it's always bad luck and systemic issues or narcissist abusive ex-husbands putting them in debt. I have no agency as I demand everyone else submit solely to my agency at all times.

It seems likely to me that he was radicalised these past few years. The anti fascist messages on the casing (not sure why people are trying to spin "hey fascist! Catch this" into anything else really), his family saying he got angry about Kirk because he spreads hate, the fact his family looks to lean conservative tells me he probably rebelled against his family's politics like most people do then they become adults and the fact that yeah, he shot Charlie Kirk. Maybe he was a groyper, maybe he didn't have any kind of ideology and was purely a weird shitposter but at the moment it seems like it was someone that really did consider themselves anti fascist and hated Kirk and the hate he spread. More needs to come out and some of the way the authorities are talking about this is suspicious, telling just enough to make it seem like he leans one way but then swiftly cutting off the motivation question.

Thanks for recapping the facts as shared by law enforcement. It seems like some folks have out their head in the sand and are running with their wishes instead.

Just wanted to share that this year is absolute nuts for games. So many good ones have come out but sadly so little time to play them all!
For being a new homeowner and dealing with multiple family members passing away i haven't had the time to play games as much. I have a decent backlog but it seems every week there is a new game I want to play.

For example,
- Silent Hill F
-Sonic racing
-Ghost of Yotia
-Borderlands 4
-Battlefield 6
- hades 2

This doesn't even include games I want to play on switch 2 that I don't own.

Now with all these games coming out it's overwhelming on how do I prioritize which games to play and not. There is not enough time in the day to enjoy every game out there.

I manage it by attempting to not get caught up in the hype (manufactured or organic) for games that I'm not actually interested in? For instance, I got my fill of everything that Ghost of Yōtei from Tsushima 5 years ago and then AC Shadows 6 months ago. There's like 5 games coming out imminently that I want and then nothing until RE9 at the end of February. There's more than enough time to play every game I care about but not enough time to play every single game that gets its two weeks in the zeitgeist before the next thing comes along. Just ask yourself whether you're actually excited or if you're being influenced by marketing and metascores.

Keep it that way, buddy
