What an insane argument by this big empathetic sucker

Yup, the small corporate / business stuff.

What tax applies to this country, is this sensitive data according to the GDPR or not or how could one argue this is valid according to our terms and conditions.
Anything before an actual court case or legal action is now easily clarified. It's like being plugged into the Matrix.

This new movement to crown One Piece as the height of political commentary is hilarious, especially when the commentary on the commentary is "Slavery bad therefore leftwing!". It's a goddam children's cartoon. Most of the plot is Disney movie level deep.

No one in America wants to work on an assembly line or on a farm. We want comfy bullshit jobs or our own businesses which are usually service-based.
If the United States produces hardly anything of value, has no raw materials and doesn't have people who will work on assembly lines or farms (apparently the 20th Century saw little economic development over the 19th) you wonder how the United States even drives the global economy and stole all the wealth from the Global South in the first place.

We should probably also note that historically "shit that rich people find cool" is the only reason we have any preserved and elaborate art or artists. Remember her lectures about showing proper respect for those things.

I get this fierce. I feel like I have to maximize my weekends. Don't get me wrong, I do enjoy my lazy weekends where I just rot at home. Binge a show. Get deep into an engrossing game. Did this recently with Silksong. But I can't do too many of those without feeling guilty.

I also live alone, so I do need to do my basic adult crap--deep clean, groceries, appointments (barber, etc). So it's a balance. I can't rot too much. Stuff unravels.

The 4 day workweek can't come soon enough!

No, Nepenthe.  You produce nothing of value.  You are the one with the useless bullshit job.  A lot of other people in America produce a lot of things of value.  For someone that rants about capitalism all day, she sure knows fuck all of what the gross domestic product actually is in this country.  She's so utterly stupid.  Finance or "speculation" as she calls it, is less than 10% of the GDP anyway.  She couldn't even google that.   Not even wasting my time dignifying the rest with a response.  The US is the 2nd largest manufacturer in the world - its value added output in manufacturing alone is more than the entire GDP of 95% of countries on earth , and she's talking about 'wypipo dont wanna work on an assembly line n shit' 'america hardly produces anything tangible'.  And nobody in the thread responds to this dumbfuckery.   You're going to be in that Walgreens for the rest of your life, dumb-dumb.  Get used to stocking Pepsi because you will never do anything useful or make anything that 'rich people find cool'.

The US not having raw materials is another galaxy-brain take from Nep.

These people want to change the whole world's economic system and don't even know the basic facts and chronology.

Season 4 was just some random rival gang stuff. The whole point of Fargo was some innocent bystander gets caught too deep in a rabbit hole.

I hear season 5 was ok, haven't seen it yet.

Season 4 was hampered by COVID so I give it a pass. S5 easily ties with S3 as one of the best. Juno Temple's character was so good people think she's Marge's daughter. John Hamm is a great villain. It's annoying as fuck that we're going to have to wait years for the next season because of that Alien shite

That article is not saying that?

Is saying “if you are going to use AI, don’t be an idiot”

Quote:Before using any AI tool for legal work, consider your ethical obligations. Carefully vet AI-generated work products and be cautious about sharing confidential information, as many tools use inputted data for training purposes.

It also mentions AI services specifically made for lawyers. Trumps

That’s not an article. That is the American Bar Association (the organization that legitimizes attorneys in our country) telling attorneys to use Claude to research and locate precedent for whatever case they may be working on. Which they all do.

Tell me, why wouldn’t you?

That sounds very different to “legal advice”.

But I’m not anti AI.

At worst I just don’t buy the hype. Is like when people claimed that self driven cars would be ready like 10 years ago, there is self driven cars but nowhere ready as people were selling it. Yeshrug Most probably in the future there is going to be a genuinely good and efficient self driving car, but I still don’t think it will be like the majority expect.

Quote:Thing is, as of the latest episode, nazis got involved in the story
Ever since this twist came out, some people pointed out that the dance choreography has the arms kinda looking like a swastika, as a small foreshadowing of the plot,

Don't get me wrong, there isn't any endorsement of hateful ideas in the show, in fact, there is a lot of nazi-killing in it...

But that doesn't exclude the fact that the emote can now be seen as a swastika gesture, which has a lot of negative potential, which makes me wonder if Epic should remove or alter it
