I brought BL4 cause i love the series but the game was choppy at first for me, and only gotten worse with each patch. The latest patch has made the game compile shades if you more than just look at something at screen. Just loading the game is 10 minutes EVERYTIME, then you going to get micro hitches and stutters even when nothing is really hitting on screen. I am running on 1080, with a 4060 with 32 gigs of system ram. Not a beast but damn man. And for 70 bucks too.

And it is a common issue that no one actually seems to be working on from what i can see. UE5 game comes out and people just grin and bare it until it becomes somewhat playaable. And not like gearboxis some scrabby developer where the lead also has to do HR work. They have more than enough resources and money to throw at this

Maybe I should just stick to indy Vampire Survivor clones

Mario has 40 years of history and almost no plot outside RPGs. Honestly, what would be the plot of Super Mario World the movie? Bowser threatens a bunch of Yoshis with the help of his offspring some midgets relatives of his.

But I cant hate Miyamoto, as he give us the best Mario gag in the film: Mario hates mushrooms. 

It seems to me that World was the plan with the Yoshi tease and all. Nintendo likely wasn't sure if the 1st movie would be well received so connecting it to a new game release would be risky. 

Now they've tested the waters so to speak and feel confident enough to connect it to Super Mario Galaxy 1, 2 and 3.

Game isn't nearly as scary and the story has no subtlety as you would expect from a Silent Hill game or good combat which it has a lot of. Still, it's good to see a Konami published game do well. It isn't a bad game. They need to keep going.

I think condemning the "patriarchy" in the disclaimer was the dead giveaway. It turned off a huge portion of fans that would have otherwise been interested. Only peaked at 23k on steam and it's not on gamepass. Lots of people aren't buying the hype. The performance issues and stutters don't help either. For reference, Avowed peaked at 20k and it was also on gamepass.

Honestly, I found myself eyerolling at how cliche the story was, until I did a third playthrough going for the true ending (Ebisoguoka in Silence) where things suddenly became much more nuanced instead of the hyper-feminist man-hating screed it was beforehand.

The game demonises men, marriage, as well as being anti-natalist propaganda. This is just globohomo slop, at a time when Japan's and much of the Western's world family unit is dismantled and the birth rate plummeting, while foreigners and turd worlders are being brought as [redacted] for the local population.

2/10 at best.

Shit like this is why I am glad I avoid female leads in games. Because everything I heard about Silent Hill F is that the F in it stands for Feminist, and as such I have no interest in it at all, even before the fact I don't like playing games with female leads, but it's funny how they can take something that had a decent protag in Silent Hill 3 with Heather Mason, but botched it.

While I would definitely discourage anything that suggests autism is a super power, I do genuinely believe that neuro diversity is likely a benefit to the tribe or community. Remember, evolution isn't solely about the individual, but the group. A tribe that all thinks the same way, is probably a lot less equipped to deal with any given challenge compared to one that has people who see things differently.

On the extreme end of those diversifications, you're going to start to see things that aren't beneficial to that individual or the tribe, but frankly, I think having a percentage of people with autism is probably a benefit to society. Having autistic friends in my friend group is certainly something that I see as a positive to the group as a whole.

Remember, it's a benefit to the community to have that one weirdo who collects 10+ cats and won't shut the fuck up about tiramisu or wlw media.
