Posting in here for greater visibility. I assume the imgur thing is temporary based around some kind of overreaction that will be reverted later this week once people actually discuss it. But if not I will turn on image uploads here at the very least for myself.

The Bire actually uses very little of its allocated server space, I just didn't want to have to ever watch this in terms of that or what people might be uploading. Having applied some actual thought about the size of our userbase and how many active threads we have, I mostly just need to look into if I can block it in PMs.

The Saudi government dismembered a journalist.

They have the Kafala system where they use vulnerable people from other Middle Eastern countries and South Asian countries for slave labour.

They have an extremely poor record of women's rights. Let's not even start with LGBT rights. It's not comparable at all to the West.

Despite their wealth the Saudi's have not played any key role in reducing tensions in the region or accept refugees from Syria or Palestine.
