I'm going to venture that he means you can be a supporter of free speech and also cancel your $13/month subscription to person of gender indoctrination of two year olds masquerading as television(and encourage others to do the same until Netflix stops producing and offering such garbage). "Voting with your wallets" is the kind of free speech that companies actually listen to for their decisions.

I'm going to say something that may or may not feel good to hear. For me personally, knowing what to expect helps keep me grounded.



It's very common for relationships to be tested like this after several years together and many hardships. It's often called the 7-year itch. I'm not saying this is "supposed" to happen, but it happens.



For a long time in most relationships, there is still quite a bit of limerance. But at some point, we know our partners inside and out, good and bad. No more rose colored glasses. It can be jarring for people and they question if they still love their partners. In our 20s and 30s, we often are not used to being in a relationship after limerence. Limerence is wonderful but it's not meant to be 24/7 forever. It wanes and surges. On top of that, life wears us down. We feel restless. Feeling stuck in life or in need of a change can make one question if they have made the right choices in life. Because partners lives are naturally so wrapped up in each others, feeling of life dissatisfaction will color how one sees the relationship. We as people are surprisingly good at getting our wires crossed when trying to rationalize the reason we feel a certain way.



This all sounds very bad. And in a lot of ways its unpleasant. But, relationships that survive it are stronger in many ways. This period of time requires relearning ourselves and the other person without rose colored glasses for your partner and for life in general. It requires exploring oneself deeply and reflecting on what contributes to dissatisfaction. Love in this stage really becomes a verb. You actively love and make effort to love. That generates the feeling of love. You actively explore what you love about a person because after 7 years, things start to feel normal and we take it for granted. You explore what you don't love. You confront your own demons. And i know it sounds like the work is all on your wife but it's not. You'll end up doing a lot of reflecting and this whole situation will force you to reevaluate just as much. This is hard work and downright scary at times. On the positive side, if you can get through it and manage to reconnect, the love you find with your partner on the other side of this struggle is one that is honest and earned and what can make it stronger and more durable than it was before in my opinion.



It takes two people to get through this phase and it requires that both people actively want to fix the relationship. I recommend counseling individually for you both as you may both be dealing with psychological/emotional pitfalls or depression. And i recommend coming to an agreement on if you want to try to make this work and if so going to marriage counseling.

Now it seems like you are reversing your "of course not" and saying Elon does have this duty because of his exaggerated claim of supporting free speech. A much better and closer to an actual claim of hypocrisy would be that Elon has said he will fund the legal bills of anyone fired for anything posted on Twitter, here he is attempting to get people fired for things they did that other people are now posting on Twitter years after it happened.
