The fact enemies can literally slide across the battlefield without even moving their feet to hit you like they have shoes made of soap, while Atsu doesn't even have a single gap-closer of her own is making me so angry. Why can't we get a gap-closer? Why do enemies get them and we don't?
It makes fights look fucking silly (it's getting to the point where I literally make cartoon "slippery" noises with my mouth whenever I see an enemy do it, and it's often) AND it makes Atsu feel like she has absolutely zero range.

Someone allergic to apples values my apple as worth fuck all, somebody desperate for an apple will pay big time for my apple, there is a continuum between nothing (which lets say includes everything up to my personal valuation of how much I reckon it cost me in labour + materials + my own desire to not sell my apple) up to something way more than I 'think' its worth.

But if someone buys my apple at what I consider a fair cost, then travels the fucking country specifically looking for people who will pay over the odds so that they make more than I did, I'm not being fucked over because I didn't go round the fucking country looking for those people, they did.

And if one of those people turns premium apples into delicious apple pie and charges even more over what I think an apple is worth, they are also not fucking me over, because they are also adding additional labour that I didn't fucking do to create a 'profit'.

And if someone then takes those apple pies round the country to find the specific people who will pay way more for those apple pies than average... the fucking cycle continues.

I admit I harbor some extra resentment towards the Chinese room (problematic name much?) ever since the director went on some rant against Quiet from MGS, saying something to the effect that she's as offensive as antisemitic caricatures. Later their Twitter also fired shots at CDPR for daring to have attractive women in their games.
Though looking at Masquerade 2 their problem don't seem to be the character designs

Sounds a lot like the visual novel games that VtM has. VtM:Cotories for example.

The game is trying to tell a story. Toss in some combat to keep things spicy. VtM: Swansong could have used some combat IMO plus that game looked like ass.

I'm going to try to judge it for what it is. Which seems to be an evolution of the visual novel type games that VtM has been putting out. Really hope we get something more RPG at some point though. Heck save some $$ and make it akin to the Shadowrun games that came out a few years back. Top down view. Add in all the RPG-ness you can while saving $ on graphics.

The numbered sequel of a beloved immersive sim RPG? Because they are selling it as that.
