With MAGA quickly buying up all the media companies, my fear is:

1. All news will be owned by Trump/Allies and propaganda will be all that is left.
2. LGBTQ and "brown" people will no longer be represented in movies and TV shows (eventually). Content written and produced by MAGA. Anything considered "woke" to be removed.
3. Outside media (including videogames such as Sony and Nintendo) not produced here will be banned. Including internet websites. Got to keep us entirely controlled.

God I hope I am very wrong. This has all gotten so damn disturbing and so fast. :(

Edit: couldn't help but point out the inherent conflict in the coward moderators that watched the Depp V Heard trial live, posted about how much the disinformation they saw distressed them and how their biases were getting striken down piece by piece, and now let their co-horts run amok/suppress the case post-fact, despite their support of him- and the few mods who hadn't, that use the cases quiet to secretly ban those that don't kiss attempted murderer Amber Heard's feet.

Progressives hate male victims so much, sickening.

Added a little bit of praise for a few users to potentially soften the blow, but I knew it'd be a ban.

My ban reason says covertly linking banned sources; literally checked to see if xcancel was used on the site prior to quoting what I linked lmao, and it was used as recently as today multiple times.

I just full-on quit watching the other day. Even left a message about why. Doubt they read it nor cared. Whatever. I like how their demand is basically for Sam and presumably everyone else to just stop talking about the Senate race. Act like Maine doesn't even exist. It's not like they can swap to the other candidates who are centrists and Zionists, they obviously can't support the Republicans even if necessary to defeat a Nazi tattooed socialist, etc.

And then they post things like Shreds going all "this isn't a purity test, it's basic standards." That no one will ever meet. You're not exactly sitting on a plethora of open socialists here, you're going to have to take guys like Mamdani condemning people's democracy and endorsing Trump or Bernie refusing to call for the extermination of jewnazis or Obama despicably claiming that those in Gaza are people.
