Nah yesterday was a little weird. The plan was to meet, she'd go out to buy plants (she did). Overall the day just went by and we were in touch during it. I figured she'd show up at 8PM like we had agreed. So when I told her I was home she answered she'd watch some TV and read a book. So I figured she probably didn't feel like driving so I offered to come over.  
But she said she wouldn't have any visitors, only her mom to bring food. Which was kind of this odd "I'm retreating back into my bubble" thing. But she added that things would be ok. 

Today I send her a message that I don't throw in the towel easily and a rugby champ that keeps her head up and is able to stand her ground is a good match. In addition some words of affection. When I send her my longer text she immediately panicked to report she was out shopping with her mom and was clearly relieved I hadn't dumped her already. She liked the compliments and opened up to admit that she was having a hard time doesn't allow herself to be interested too long (might lead to dissapointment anyway) because of her previous relationship. So she appreciated me understanding that and giving her time and space. I send her the Bob Marley song and she went back to live blogging what she was doing.

But I've been at this junction with the latina. At least I know what's holding her back and it's not for me to fix. Except making her realize this is a 2 way street. With no date on the calendar there won't be as much bf/gf apping and attention. Maybe that one date and make-out session was all she could muster with her current health and mental state, time will tell.

Anyway my bud is coming over to watch a movie and tonight/tommorow we'll see what's what. It's more or less the same as the lead up to the first date and that paid off well. I'll hit her with: "Don't worry about cookies you are tasty enough on your own"

Now that I know what's bothering her I realized I should just keep it to shitty jokes and movies. Distance myself from the rest as much as possible so I'm escapism from all that.
