BeamDog put a trans NPC into Siege of Dragonspear, the new "connective tissue" game between Baldur's Gate 1 and 2, and they said it was transphobic because she reveals that she's trans to the player immediately, no TRUE trans person would out themselves like that because the whole point is to BE the other gender and fall into that role and you shouldn't/wouldn't be randomly telling people you just met

My wife is in social work (Nor Cal) and a lot of people in need would rather go hungry than take groceries from a food bank. There's a lot of shame attributed to food banks because it's very public and you may run into someone you know volunteering there. SNAP is much more discreet. Feel bad for people having to go to food banks where groceries may or may not be in stock. Not being able to choose what you want and just get what you get. It's inhumane in some aspects.
