I mean vance doesnt think that at all. Fascists dont often believe their own policies. That's for the rank and file to believe. The capital owning class engages in performance. Sure, some are true believers, but most arent, at least on any significant level. Most of Trump's cabinet and circle are ex Bush republicans, for exmaple, and much of his support and backers are ex Clinton and Obama voters or donors.

Most of the capital owning class if suddenly poor, would just be everyday Democrats. The grift doesnt work when you're poor, so they'd just subscribe to the other side. Remember, most people in Trump's orbit, including vance, are documented calling Trump pretty awful names.

This is why capitalism doesnt work. There's no sincerity in politics under it. Its grift over grift, again and again.

What worries me about this is it seems like they are pumping him up in a way that they want someone deranged to do something.
