New number probably new date soon

She said she watched the Lion King 100x but watches the type of movies I watch usually once.

I said don't worry you can start by trying to distract me from our 1st movie and claims that would be easy.

It's easier to plan movie dates now that the weather is bad. They don't care about meeting in public as much.  lol
And as I noticed with the Rugby player it simplifies the 'what do I wear' process to whatever they wear watching TV.

Her opener was: "What music would you rather not hear again" and I mentioned some gypsie Dutch singer who sounds like an alley cat in heat getting stuffed with a torpedo.

We both hate camping and we're both always late. She doesn't trust people who like camping. If she shows up tommorow we're going to watch Snatch as 50% of the plot of that movie is hating the gypsies. I got it to watch it with the rugby player but these things have a tendency to be recycled for the next date.  lol

She's also originally a white girl from South Africa so probably racist af Heart

Overall from the chat she seems to be a bit more feisty than some of the other girls I've dated.

Anyway the election between Wilders and the Shitlibs is close. At work they didn't really like that I was hoping he'd turn out to be the biggest. They all voted the liberal gay boy. I voted for our current minister of economics of the conservatives to minimize the damage of Wilders losing. Overall a good call, no matter what coalition we get, they can't form it without the conservatives. They were mad about that too because I voted strategically (and many smart people did). Whlie the result is a mess the right keeps getting bigger and the left smaller. All those smaller right wing parties that split up are now growing, so we have like 8 different right wing brands now.

Almost voted for Lidewij de Vos because she's a cute neurodivergent fascist.  Heartbeat

[Image: Wie-is-de-partner-van-Lidewij-de-Vos.jpg]

The outcome so far
PVV 26 (Wilders with 0 campaign effort)
D66 26 (Gay boy shitlibs)
VVD 22 (vanilla conservatives)
GLPVDA 20 (green labour)
CDA 18 (christian conservatives)
JA21 9 (FVD offshoot)
FVD 7 (literally the cute neurodivergent fascist)
BBB 4 (right wing farmers)
SP 3 (maoist socialists)
DENK 3 (Erdogan party)
PVDD 3 (animal fuckers)
SGP 3 (religious zealots)
CU 3 (christian socialists)
50PLUS 2 (old nazis)
VOLT 1 (SOROS party)

you need 76 seats to form a government. no one wants to govern with Wilders so this will be difficult.
If the right wasn't retarded and worked together they'd have a 91 seat majority.

My horoscope once again predicts many things that I assume are right on the money based on the trajectory of this week and the things I have planned tommorow.

In addition: "The opportunity arises but you have to extend your hand." can Bionic finally kill themselves tommorow?
If this girl is as "game" as she seems to be I won't rule it out.

Wednesday I was pretty devastated about the rugby player but today I realized with the redhead out and her out I'm free to do whatever I want.

If I can make this "chivalry ain't dead I'll pull your pants up again after I smack you" / "distract me from the movie" / "pick the wine" / "did you know I'm a werewolf" funnel work this'll be a fun winter. This'll be the second one this month possibly skipping the public meet-up just to show up at my place. I finally tuned my humor to the level that doesn't scare them off but isn't too vanilla.

Spoiler:  (click to show)
"wow you're sending me a map"
"yup that's better than meeting at a mcdonalds parking lot right"
"uuhhh explain that one" (how does he know about THAT I would never do that!!!)
"well I planned a forest walk and this forest had like 4 entrances and the chick was giving instructions like turn left at Mcdonalds so I drove around in circles for hours only to slug around through the mud for 20 minutes"
"🤣🤣🤣"

I actually had a dream about the forum. More specifically, I had a dream that I had somehow had been a recurring actor in a late 1990's sitcom starring Melissa Joan Hart and Fred Savage and you guys had found out about it and were demanding explanations.

Actually, it's possible it may have been Ben Savage.

On the show he was a lawyer and I played his son or possibly his younger brother. Who he had to bring to court sometimes for some reason? I also may have replaced a younger actor in this role after just a few episodes. Melissa Joan Hart was a journalist and her daughter helped her uncover scandals. Despite this winning premise for a sitcom I got the impression the show did not last very long. Which is presumably why I forgot I had been on it.

she got cold feet to drive to my town so after some womaning we're going out in her city instead.

Well that was a total waste of time.

She looked ok, better than her pictures but there is a reason why I wanted a movie date and not a relationship date because I had serious doubts and those were confirmed.
When she realized I wasn't going to put in more effort she cut it short.

One of those "I have a busy life but I'll try to find this 1 perfect man" after 5 years of swiping on the app.
I'm pretty sure she had a roster on her phone as she was the type of 6/7 corpo girl that is 'hot' enough to hit but not hot enough to marry for the millionaires and at 33 kind of hitting the wall. I hit her early with the business is quite small and I could see her face turn.  lol

So we had a friendly chat and that was it. I assume she went to her fuckboy after as she was frantically texting the last 5 minutes.

I mostly kept it going to confirm a few things I like/dislike about women so I can better narrow down who to actually date.
This one more or less hit all my red flags. She even disliked cats.

Unlike with my therapist, the gym autisty and the rugby player there was 0 chemistry. I thought to maybe check out a few more bars but figured I'd just return later when I'm not as tired.

It was weird, she had a good job at a bank that paid well but was mostly just a 9 - 5 and had otherwise just filled up her entire calendar with activities.
Sports, friends, vacations etc. . Truely she had no time or interest in a relationship but when I confronted her with that fact she was pissed about it.
She said: "I'm not cancelling any plans or moving anything just to date someone I've never met" but I told her that's not the point. The point is that when a date works out you can't really do anything with it because you don't have the time and then it dies out. But like all girls she had this idea that if he is cute and perfect enough it'll magically work out.

Overall she didn't feel the vibe, gurl there was no vibe to be felt with you. She also clearly didn't like I wasn't as nervous as she was.
And finally I was drinking more slowly than she was. I noticed she was trying to match that pace and ultimately just gave up and finished her drink in 1 gulp.
Alcoholic through and through. Wine was her #1 interest. Overall she was boring and her life was boring and she had hoped for princess treatment.

oh and what she hated more than anything is that a base level and I knew this from the chats already.

She was attracted to me. The eyes don't lie chico, she couldn't keep eye contact. I was totallly her type in that regard.
Dressed better too, other girls were looking at their guys like: "Why ain't you dressed like that?"
Which is probably why she was so dissapointed I wasn't prince charming but rather this guy

There won't be a second date but at least she knows the whole banking sector and her bullshit job will be automated with AI
[Image: G4mDiKHXIAAJIP6?format=jpg&name=small]

But she was like "Why spend all that time working when you could have funTM" looking depressed af needing to be entertained by literally anything. Because at 33 it's marginal right.
The city she is in quite exciting, tons of bars and places to hangout but she has outgrown it she says.

I could've known from her movie tastes actually. She watched the Lion King 100x and to Snatch she said: "that looks old". No you're old, Snatch is a classic. Aged like fine wine.

Anyway psyop on fun german girl started. Texted her at 1:15 AM. Tommorow morning she's like: "man this guy is fun he's still partying at night'

I interrupt your regularly scheduled episode of Nintex Red Shoe Diaries to share a very important story.

I'm lazy as fuck so often when I come here to the bire I type "the" in my URL bar and hit enter. About 50% of the time my browser will interpret this as me wishing to do a search on Google for the word "the". My eye is always drawn to this this weird fucking image of "the" in the upper right of the results.

Why this green background? Why the funky ass font choice?

So the other day I finally clicked it after seeing it maybe hundreds of times, and I learned something that shook me to my very core.

Wikipedia wrote:In Middle English, the digraph ⟨th⟩ was written using the letter thorn, þ. During the latter Middle English and Early Modern English periods, thorn (in its common script or cursive form), came to resemble a y shape. With the arrival of movable type printing, the substitution of ⟨y⟩ for ⟨Þ⟩ became ubiquitous, leading to the common ye, as in 'Ye Olde Curiositie Shoppe'. One major reason for this was that ⟨y⟩ existed in the printer's types that William Caxton and his contemporaries imported from Belgium and the Netherlands, while ⟨Þ⟩ did not.[8] Historically, the article was never pronounced with a y sound even when it was so written.
Ye Olde Mofos were pronouncing "ye" as "the" the entire time! All of our dumb little jokes about "Ye Olde" whatever are an artifact of modern day collective ignorance, and nothing else.

(PS. I never found out what is up with the green picture and weird font. Sorry to disappoint anyone hoping for answers there.)

Found a pretty nice car today, Hyundai i20 Coupe. Taking it for a spin on monday.

+ sporty looks
+ fairly unique model, I wasn't even aware this version existed
+ good reviews
+ turbo
+ more dynamic handling than the regular i20, lower suspension
+ modern kit (LED lights, DAB, electric mirrors, grill, wing etc.)

- not much passenger space
- white and not a vibrant color but I like the duotone details and rims

just 9k, will try to get it down to 7.5 or 8 with the Lancer as a trade in if it drives well. The kind of bang for buck I was looking for. The more I find out about this car the more I like it.

Finally a win?

The German girl got back in touch after recovering from her hangover but I decided not to just give up movie night with my bud for another silly drink or whatever.
Instead I'll meet with her after if she doesn't get cold feet she's hanging out with her friend anyway. If she does get cold feet at least she didn't ruin movie night.
So far she said to text her at any time. Perhaps a 2nd win?

I think I mentioned before, at one point for whatever reason my browser decided that whenever I did this, I wanted to go to one specific page of a thread on thebire every single time like some random page 145 out of 800

there's no point to this story, just browsers being annoying, iit has been long enough since this was happening that I don't remember whatever weird nepenthe comment it was at the top I saw endlessly, hundreds of times

Tried to get 2 to watch a movie no dice so far but 1 is considering to drive over for a drink tonight. I think she'll be more fun to hang out with, she has a great movie taste.

At an event with a free bar. Made a casual remark that I can’t get drunk. The bartender took it as challenge and keeps giving me different drinks. I already pissed myself twice before finished the first rosé he poured me.

Fun to drive and in great condition, got it down from 9k to 7.5k after opening at 7k. Actually returned to the first guy I visited. The lead mechanic had convinced him to put this up for sale usually he doesn't offer rare cars like these. I wonder if the lead mechanic did me a solid because he knows I was looking for something like this there is only a total of 2 of these models for sale in this country and I bought 1 one of them.

Will pick it up thursday. It's not the car I expected to end up with. Half my budget of 15k even.

Overall I just love the design. From some angles it looks like a sports sedan:
[Image: hyundai-i20-coupe-hyundai-i20-coupe-de-2...016516.jpg]

and from others a hatchback or crossover
[Image: Hyundai%20i20%20Coupe%201.jpg]

It actually won a Red Dot Design award.

In ways it reminds me of the Lancer. Consumer model based on an iconic Fast & Furious / Need for Speed race car: Lancer Evo. This one again reminiscent of another favorite of mine, the Hyundai Coupe. The best engine config too. They launched these with a 4 cilinder 84hp engine and replaced it with a 100hp turbo engine which this model has. It gives it the punch it needs to overtake and accelerate faster. The other model also doesn't have the nav system, LED lights and better rims etc. . I might give it a single offset hood racing stripe and a windshield sticker to give it a little edge.

The German girl is still in touch. She reminds me of the German Latina has the same dream too, opening a bar in my town. But this one is still hopeful and joyful not jaded and defeated, not a single mom. I told her pics or it didn't happen when she went to bed and while she kept it classy she got the message that this is more than 'friendly' so I'm not complaining about a long distance text fling with a 33 year old.
