I gave it a shot on PS+, as someone how had never played Dragon Age beyond maybe an hour or so of Inquisition (through shareplay) back then. So I am not a Dragon Age fan at all, and knew nothing of the game world.

Earlier today I used the phrase "wet themselves" in the pejorative and negative sense. This was a mistake due to latent abelism and I apologize. Urinating and defecating on yourself is entirely heckin valid and should be supported by all people at all times. Indeed, pooping yourself, dropping the turds on the floor and using them to frame others is not just heckin valid but a sign of a good person to be given authority and a wonderful story that everyone should appreciate for showing the struggle of being an egg in our capitalist hellworld.

But my mistake is really an opportunity, for all of us to realize that no matter how much we think we exist outside the cycle of capitalist violence we are all susceptible to capitalism, colonialism and white supremacy as long as we do not adhere to a politics that covers everything everywhere all at once. I like to call this conception of a total politics "totalism" for how it totally rejects fascism for a system that places everything exactly where it belongs and keeps it there permanently rather than allow others who don't understand the theory to dominate those of us who do. For as long as we listen to libs, especially those who are bald or have small dicks, we will never escape the cruelty of a system where we do not have total and complete control versus the freedom of a totalist one where everything is exactly as it should be always and no one will ever again disrespect me despite how unflinchingly awesome I am.

The problem with giving the chuds so much credit is that their boycotts conveniently only seem to work on games that launch with tangible, widely recognized flaws. Veilguard, Star Wars Outlaws, Forspoken, etc. These guys campaign against just about every major release, if the grift was working none of the games they target would be selling.

What we have started to see is publishers prematurely acquiescing to these groups. Ubisoft apparently cancelled that Reformation-era AC in response to the Yasuke backlash before Shadows even released. Which is a shame bc that game would go on to sell quite well despite the noise surrounding it

What's also funny is that the guy who wrote her claims to be non-binary but playing the game really gave me zero new understanding of what being non-binary is supposed to be like. The character is just "I don't know, calling me a woman just never really fit" (because she does boy stuff). I at least have some idea of how someone could be trans but non-binary remains the largest larping bullshit I can think of.
