I will say Rowling seems pretty okay with throwing away any semblance of brand protection to claw at remaining relevant if she's okay with signing off on Harry Potter running around with a fucking AK. There have been multiple major properties that have refused to partner up with Fortnite because of it being inappropriate to give their characters a gun, and I'd have thought Harry Potter would have been among them given it's children aiming pointy sticks at each other and shouting magic words.

Now hold on. Data centers do not bring much at all in the way of jobs. It will help tax revenue tremendously, but it won’t do much past help the local governments dollars.

It’s certainly logical for companies to choose those areas as they are cheap land with utilities access, I can’t fault them for going in that direction. I’d also question how it’s always minority areas. Anecdotally, I’ve seen them pop up in the rural outskirts that are not minority areas. Companies are chasing low land value.
