I met a guy yesterday at Subway while I was waiting in line and just happened to be wearing a sports sweater with a small american flag on the sleeve. Dude pointed that out to me and told me he's a democrat that voted for Trump. I asked him if he's concerned about Trump being in the Epstein files and he laughed out loud saying its all bullshit. I was shocked and it reminds me of those liberals with the "I stand with Ukraine & Israel" signs on their lawn. Fucking bonkers and what a weirdo to even bring that up to a stranger.

I want platonic and romantic relationships but don't want to do the work for them. Always question if it's something I even want. I usually do things to get a reaction from someone not for my own benefit or enjoyment. I hate this world but I do little to help change it. I fear and hate men at times even though I am one myself. I see a therapist and psychiatrist and might be trying TMS soon but I don't see it working nor do I care if it does. The idea of working my whole life is exhausting but it's the only place I want to be at times besides my bed. I live with my parents and love them I think but barely engage with them. After they die who knows what'll happen really. Desiring things feels wrong. Constantly lurking Reddit, Facebook, and past ResetEra threads for validation or finding rules maybe to what to do in life, how to be a good person all day everyday gets sad every time but I keep doing it. Knowing you're doing the wrong thing wasting money and overeating but can never stop. Lose 70 pounds just to gain back 100. Always changing opinions depending on who I'm talking to so I don't actually feel like a person or maybe I just feel intimidated by everyone and don't want to confront or anger. Lose interest in every hobby I had. Just constant overthinking leading to inaction.

Sorry don't know what I was going for really just something I've been thinking about a lot. I probably don't even want an answer. Sitting here because I overslept a couple hours of work and feel like a failure for doing so.

I feel like I need to offer some background on us first before I talk about what was said.

We are the last people alive in my family basically. Her parents were abusive to their children (my aunt and my mom). My mother was very abusive to me and also had a drug problem that eventually killed her at the age of 38. We both somehow made it out of that. My aunt did not fare as well as she turned to drugs and then religion to deal with the consequences of the abuse that was done to her. My grandma was hardcore religious but in a crazy way. For instance, when my aunt was a child she had no interest in religion and my grandma would take her to a pastors house and dropped her off during the week. This pastor was supposed to be "converting" her but in reality he was sexually abusing her. This was our life in this messed up family and I ran away from home when I was a teen and moved in with her, emancipated myself from my parents and we both cut off the rest of the family entirely.

My aunt is 60 something now and has become a Trump supporter. As a victim of violent abuse, I'm disgusted by this and told her that I cant be friendly with her anymore. No fight and I wasnt mean about it. I just said this is my boundary and I can't deal with her anymore. This lasted for awhile. Today she texted me out of the blue and tries to invite me to Thanksgiving. I said I wasnt interested and we kept going back and forth and the discussion turned into an argument. It culminated with me telling her that I could not fathom how she supports Trump after she herself has been the victim of sexual assault. And I guess that opened up the floodgates because she got honest real fast.

She told me that she knows Trump is an abuser. She told me that she believes he is the antichrist. She pointed out how the bible says the "beast" (whatever the fuck that is) would suffer a head injury and then miraculously be ok. She told me how the antichrist is supposed to be prideful and divisive and just went on and on about the similarities between Trump and what the bible says the "beast" will be.

So obviously my next question was, if you believe this shit why the fuck are you supporting him?

And she said that the antichrist is supposed to come before the rapture so she voted for Trump to help that process along. She wants the world to end. She wants to go to heaven. She also said that she attends a church in Florida where they all believe this.

Is this what is happening all over?

Like, are we supposed to be handcuffed to violent insanity so we can bring about the end of the world? Obviously, I dont believe in this shit.

But do a lot of people believe this? I know how people say there are a lot of Muslims that want to bring about the end of the world but I always just attributed that to racist ideology. I've never really heard Christians actually say the want to proactively help this process along. Is this an unspoken thing amongst different religious groups?

How do you even try to reason with that? I kind of feel that if your vote is going to go to whoever you feel will bring about the end of the world, you just shouldnt be allowed to vote at all. I honestly feel like my aunt should be hospitalized in some kind of mental hospital.

Yep, she was a victim, but then made the guy a victim too by posting him on social media.

The correct play would be to leave the food on the doorstep, and leave, inform doordash of what happened and let them do whatever (which very could be absolutely nothing)- or at worst maybe they blacklist his account and won't allow future deliveries there. Maybe they advise to call cops, but I doubt it. At least you still have a job, and at least you probably won't ever have to go back there (or know enough to not accept a delivery to that address again.

But you definitely don't take your own photos and you especially don't post them online, absolutely wild to think that is OK. Just another victim of tiktok/insta/snap culture.
