I got big into Dragon Quest Builders 2 when the pandemic hit and this looks like the closest thing to a successor there is. Same developers as DQB2 (Koei Tecmo) but there doesn't seem to be any combat and it has a bigger focus on building your community/habitat to attract new Pokemon which draws some similarities to Viva Pinata. This could be my next Switch 2 game.

It's not about payout. The pathetic part of this is they are going to give this "most anticipated" award to GTA6 willingly without cost because they MUST have that game in the show to satisfy the retards who watch it. The western part of this industry is so pathetic. Japan save us.

Looking at Metroid Prime 4 I think the goose is cooked. The last chopper has left Saigon. 

I was worried about this. The Switch 2 being an extension of the Xbox Series, PS5 generation arguably the weakest console generation in history.
Nintendo does look at what's trending 5 years ago and gives it their own spin. So sometimes you get open world Zelda and other times you get Metroid with Marvel banter made by HALO developers. It can still be a good game but I don't expect it to be legendary based on what I've seen so far.

Retro Studios attempted to get a new IP off the ground during the Switch 1 generation but the game never quite came together so Nintendo cancelled it and locked them down to making Metroid Prime games for the foreseeable future. It's probably for the best as it should ensure stable work for the future. 
 
If you look at how Nintendo's dev teams operate, they focus on one or two main game series and try to get a new entry out for every system since Nintendo games are usually evergreen sellers. I imagine once Prime 4 is out, Retro will either move on to Prime 5 or go back and finish remastering the rest of the original trilogy.

Death Stranding 2 finally delivered an amazing moment. Going by the sappy music this is supposed to be a big epic journey where you deliver your first heavy load of cargo.

Game probably didn't expect me to fix up the monorail. Reading the bire as I automated the entire thing. Great mission. Two to three minutes of afk-ing whilst the game plays itself.

Back to playing Oblivion remastered (somehow ive got 150 hours on it before i deleted it to make space for Ninja Gaiden 2 Black [why is it 100 GBs?!], but reinstalled it by making some tough deletes like Like a Dragon, Rogue Trader, and Crime Scene Cleaner). While playing, ill hop back and forth to the og to see whats different and with the exception of the Unreal graphics, its the same fucking game. But damn do the graphics look good (for the most part). I do miss the bloom-y whimsy of the OG.

So recently, my gaming rotation is Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim, rinse and repeat. 

Im coping hard that Elder Scrolls VI gets reannounced at TGA.

Got to the boss of the tutorial and was so thoroughly bored by the button mashing I started to nod off. Got killed by the boss. Game made me start the tutorial again (30+ minutes).
